The Lazy Dog is a beautifully updated and spacious coastal retreat located in the desirable Whalehead Beach community of Corolla. This open and airy six bedroom home offers panoramic coastal views, thoughtful upgrades throughout, and plenty of room for the whole family to relax and reconnect. With three master suites and five full bathrooms, plus sheets and towels provided, every detail is designed for comfort and convenience.

Recent improvements include fresh interior paint, new bedroom and family room furnishings, updated master bathroom vanities, new toilets, and flat screen TVs with Roku and the Spectrum app for cable television. Guests will also enjoy new poolside seating, lounge chairs, a 12 foot cantilever Sunbrella umbrella with lighting, and a new grill for outdoor dining.

The updated kitchen features shaker style cabinetry, beautiful quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, a tile backsplash, and a spacious island that is perfect for gathering. The top floor living areas showcase luxury plank flooring, fresh paint, updated furnishings, and a dry bar, creating a welcoming space for entertaining or unwinding after a day at the beach. The recreation room with shuffleboard offers additional fun for guests of all ages, while the king master suite features a private Jacuzzi for added relaxation.

Enjoy partial ocean views from the top deck and living room, relax on the expansive decks, and take in refreshing coastal breezes and beautiful sunrises. Spend quality time poolside with convenient access to a ground level full bathroom, prepare meals at the grilling station, or enjoy a game of basketball. Great way to celebrate 50 yrs of marriage!

Great location from the beach. Easy access to pedestrian walkways. Street was quiet yet great for walking or running. Pool was amazing! Check in & out was seamless. Great home for a family getaway to the beach.

Nice house with plenty of space. Needs new beds. Could not sleep well on the hard mattresses. Vents need cleaning. We Loved the pool and distance to the beach is great.

Nice property with one exception

Nauti Gulls is well located, the pool and hot tub are nice, as are the bedrooms. The major drawback is the kitchen! It is circa 1980s and the refrigerator and stove are horrible. The kitchen badly needs an update (I think it has Formica counters). There was not even a hot pad in the kitchen! The refrigerator is white and not the stainless steel I would expect. Both shelves on the door were missing the rails that keep jars from falling on the floor and, yes, that did happen to us. It is very small and quite inconvenient and I can't believe it has not been replaced. There is another refrigerator on another floor which is even worse! Beware if you enjoy cooking! Other than the kitchen, I really had no complaints.
