Weller's Folly is a beautifully renovated coastal retreat nestled in The Hammocks section of the prestigious Currituck Club. Bright, airy interiors and thoughtful updates create an inviting space where you can truly kick back and relax Outer Banks–style. Whether enjoying quiet mornings or unwinding after sun‑filled beach days, this polished escape offers a carefree vacation where every detail feels just right. [Note: No dogs or other animals are allowed in this home.]

New for 2026: Top Level Living area has been expanded for more spacious seating; King mattress replaced in the top level master suite, plus new outdoor furniture and an on-demand water heater.

Beds: 1 King Master, 2 Queens (1 Master), 1 Pyramid Bunk Set, 1 Day Bed with Trundle; 10 Towel Sets provided

TOP LEVEL:
An open and spacious Great Room features a living area with flat-screen TV and comfortable seating. There is access to both a screened porch and a sun deck at the back of the house to provide delightful outdoor views. The dining table seats 8 and the kitchen bar counter seats 6. The kitchen has a gas cooktop and a double wall oven plus a built-in microwave. There is a half bath by the kitchen. A King Master Suite is on this level with flat-screen TV (cable); its private bath that has a glass shower and a separate soaking tub. Stairs up to a tower room offers a Day Bed with Trundle which can provide extra sleeping accommodations if needed. [Note: gas fireplaces in the home are not available for guest use and there is no access to the garage.]

ENTRY LEVEL:
The large den is a second sitting area for watching TV or for relaxation. There are 3 bedrooms on this floor: a Queen Master Suite and a Queen bedroom both have streaming TV options. The Pyramid Bunk Set is designed for children and a hall bath with shower/tub combo is shared with the Queen bedroom. Outdoors, the pool deck has a kidney-shaped private pool measures 9' x 20' (open mid-May to mid-Oct.) and pool furniture (outdoor shower is not available). There is parking for 2 vehicles only; the garage is not available for guest use.

EXTRAS:
In season, The Hammocks section has a full-size pool and kiddie pool for the little ones. As guests within The Currituck Club, a premier-gated community and resort, your family can use its various amenities including free trolley service to the beach access and beach valet service (summer months only), a Clubhouse with on-site dining, a large community pool with kiddie pool at the main entrance, a Fitness Center, and courts for tennis, basketball, volleyball and pickleball. There are planned kids' activities offered during the summer and paths for walking and bike riding. Golfers in the family can make reservations to play the 18-hole course that is landscaped throughout the resort with sound and ocean views.

Fun week in Corolla!

Location of the house was tremendous. We rented a golf cart and the family had fun getting around in that! We were extremely impressed with the maintenance department as they quickly fixed the few problems we encountered. Great vacation spot.

Sunny Delight Vacation

We had a wonderful vacation. The house was clean and the neighborhood was fabulous. We rented a golf cart and I would highly recommend doing that. The community is quite large and the golf cart made getting to the beach much easier and it was just fun for the family. I would highly recommend the house and community.

Great Family House

The home was the perfect size for sharing with 4 small families. 8 adults and 4 kids, 6 and under. Kitchen was a decent size, plenty of space in bedrooms and bathrooms. The deck needs refinished and nails were popping up, so wear shoes. It was nice to be able to use the community amenities with a short drive to most places.

OBX Family Vacation

Home was very nice and location is wonderful. Walkable community with the golf course right as you pull in. Cleanliness of the home was sub par, in season or not, could have been much cleaner. From pictures in listing, many things were not "put out" for an off season stay. No chair pads on outdoor seating, lack of outdoor seating.. No Bath mats were provided... Do not look to use the dishwasher as you will be doing the dishes over anyway. Pool equipment needs to be enclosed, it is unsightly.

Good neighborhood but not cleaned well

My family and I booked this property for our summer vacation and while I will say the neighborhood was awesome the house we stayed in was not clean. Cobwebs everywhere, dirty oven upon arrival, left over food in the cabinets and freezer, the grill was not usable as there was caked up charred food debris all in it. The floors were not vacuumed and there was loads of things under the couch( broken sunglasses and a tic tac my toddler found!) Mistakenly my child left his iPad there and when I called on our way home I was told “we will call you if it turns up”. I never received a call but luckily an honest family staying in the house right after us got in touch with me. This is concerning as cleaning staff “didn’t come across it” but within an hour of checking in the next renter did? I would 100% stay in the neighborhood again but not this house!

Home review

The house was very nice. I believe for the cost hand soap for the 3 bathrooms and the kitchen should be included. Also since the gas grill electric start didn’t work we had to go out and buy those with the soap. These little things should be included it shows the owners care. I would suggest adding a large frying pan as making breakfast for our group would have been much easier then just the 2 pans
