Coastal charmer in the Heart of Port Aransas

Surf House - This charming new construction beach house is in the heart of Port Aransas and a short walk to the beach. House is a ground floor single story so there are no stairs to climb. Conveniently located in “old town” Port Aransas close to many attractions Port A has to offer including the beach, marina, shops and restaurants.

Our house comfortably sleeps 8 guests, but can accommodate up to 9 guests with 2 master bedrooms, 2 regular bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. The house can be divided into two separate living areas with separate entrances for your convenience. House is perfect for multiple couples, small groups, and families. The two master bedrooms feature premium king-sized beds with connected master baths. The two additional bedrooms features 2 twin bunk beds (trundle style).

We feature all the conveniences of home, including a fully equipped kitchen with all new appliances, butcher block counter-tops with 4 bar stools, dining room and table, washer/dryer, new furniture throughout, satellite televisions, DSL/Wireless connection, parking spots for 4 cars in driveway and a private patio and fenced in backyard with BBQ pit.

We look forward to welcoming you to your home away from home while visiting beautiful Port Aransas.

Family getaway favorite

This was our second time staying at the Surf House. We love that it has all the comforts of home, plenty of room for the five of us to relax, cook, play games, watch movies, and head right down the road the beach. The neighborhood is quiet. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked. We look forward to staying here again.

Clean property in a great location.

The property was in a great location and was very clean with a lot of space. Our only complaint was that the grill was rusted and not working. I had asked the owner ahead of time about the grill which he said was fine, so we spent a lot of money on hamburger & hot dog supplies we were not able to use. I tried to contact the owner about alternative options but didn’t get a reply. It was also Easter so that may have been why. A big part of our trip was to grill for our friends on Easter so this was really unfortunate. Other than that the property is great.

This home was roomy and clean and a perfect place for teens. The home had plenty of space to put the teens in different areas of the house to have their own space. It had great spaces for watching Tv in multiple areas of the home. The backyard was spacious as well.

Great House

We are a group of 6 women who take an annual trip together to Port Aransas. This year was our 5th trip and this was our favorite house that we’ve rented. Everything we needed

This was a perfectly comfortable home away from home. The thoughtful hosts really though of everything we might need. We enjoyed cooking meals in the well-appointed kitchen. The bathrooms were luxurious. One of them has a shower head in the ceiling and a river rock floor. I am sad that this place is already booked up on the dates when I wanted to go back next year. I am looking for different dates just so we can stay in this same house.

Quiet and quaint

It isn't on the beach, but that is what made it perfect for us. I was with my parents, and we wanted to enjoy the beach (Sandfest) during the day but quiet at night. This location is exactly as advertised, and Walter is available when needed. Will definitely stay again!

Wonderful place

The home was well stocked, very clean, beds were super comfortable. It was in a perfect location close by everything and just minutes from the beach. The host was very responsive. I reached out asking if they had a charcoal BBQ pit because we didn’t like gas. He promptly brought one over but not only brought the pit, he also brought charcoal and lighter fluid. It was much appreciated. We would definitely stay again.

Hi we celebrated Christmas here. Walter was awesome, very responsive, the place was clean and accommodated two families nicely. Most of the properties in Port A have many steps and no elevator, that won't work for us. This was perfect for what we needed.

Winter in Port A

Surf House is a perfect house for two couples because the bedroom and bathroom set up is perfect for each couple. I am sure that kids would be comfortable as well but we just had adults. It is a 15 minute walk to the beach which we did each morning and evening. It is close to most everything in Port A. Walter, the owner, is the most responsive host we have ever encountered. We have rented many houses but Walter is THE BEST.
