Mayan Princess 114 is one of the few first floor condos with pool and partial ocean views. Walk just steps to the beach via a dedicated boardwalk or soak up the sun in three shared tropical style pools. Enjoy other amenities during your stay, including indoor ping pong, sand or water volleyball, and horseshoes. Interior highlights include an in-unit washer/dryer, a beautiful kitchen, and a privacy master en-suite. Just a 9 minute drive north or south you will find convenient amenities and discerning dining options in Port Aransas or Corpus Christi. Mustang Island State Park is just 3.8 miles away.

Living Area

Soak up the morning sun via massive oceanfront windows in this spacious tastefully decorated living area. After a long day making sandcastles, the kids can camp out in the twin over twin bunk beds with privacy doors or watch a movie from the queen sleeper sofa on a 62” wall mount cable television, Bluray/DVD player. To complete the look and feel are a couple padded rattan sitting chairs.

We enjoyed the stay, condo was great no complaints until we went to pool and hot tub. Both were filthy and were not cleaned the whole time we were there. So we could not enjoy them. We would stay again if we checked the status of pool and hot tub first.

Had a great stay at Mayan Princess! Loved how conveniently located the resort was; mid way between Port A and Corpus meant beaches were less crowded. Resort is older, but a great value for the area. Staff was helpful, friendly and genuine. Everything was clean and safe…. just wish there was better water pressure in our shower and that the water in pool was cooler. Had friends at Cinnamon Shore who told us their pool was hot, too, so must be a common issue. We’d certainly return.

Nice unit in quiet condo community

We enjoyed our stay at MP114. Parking is close so you don't have to haul your stuff a long way. The unit is located more towards the side of one of the wings, so a little away from pool noise but you could still see the pools and boardwalk to the beach. Boardwalk is nice, great rinsing station before you get back to the pool area. Condo had a good selection of dishes and pans for the little bit of cooking we did, they even had a selection of spices with a coffee pot, filters, creamer and sweeteners. Nice fridge with water and ice which was great. Bathroom is nice, the tub may be a problem for someone who is very tall or with limited mobility as it is a pretty big step to get into but they have installed hand grips. I would suggest bringing a lot of bug spray, the mosquitoes are terrible. I even got a can of Raid at the store the first morning because they all lurk around the doors waiting to get you. The pools are nice, there are three of them, but was a little disappointed that the deepest is only 4 feet. There is a pool bar set-up, but I guess they don't have a vendor to actually run it so it was not open during any of the time we were there. I would definitely come back and stay here again. The only issue we had was that it rained heavily all day on one of days and the living room ceiling in this unit (which is below the balcony of the unit above it), began leaking quite a lot in the morning. We had to take bowls and pots from the kitchen to catch the water and move the sofa to keep it from getting soaked. When we texted the management number they responded that they would have maintenance look at it, but they never showed up or contacted us back at any time before we left later the next day.

Resort feel

It felt more like a resort vs a rental since there were helpful people at the front desk and amenities. The pools are lovely, although it wasn’t very heated so definitely chilly in April. Very nice decor. Downside was, lots of parties the weekend we were there and the bedroom is on the hallway side which was loud with an annoying ring the doorbell a million times neighbor unfortunately all night long….

Great vacation

We had a wonderful time at this vacation home! Everything was exactly as pictured on the site but it was even more beautiful in person. The customer service desk Representative Elaine greeted us with such kindness! From the spa bath to the view of the ocean each morning, it was awesome. We had no complaints! This is definetly a location we will be coming back to visit with our family.

We had a great time & location was great. It was an easy access to beach. The condo was clean & had everything we needed.The last day it was raining all night before & morning so there was leaking from roof & sliding doors. There was a flood watch so that's probably why it happened. Hopefully it could be fixed before the next visitors come in. We told the office & left some containers & moved to rug & left towels out.

Perfect Vacay Spot

We had a great family experience and loved the condo. There are activities to do on property like horseshoe and ginormous Connect 4, and we enjoyed the pools. Beach access is super easy and a closer walk than one might think. Honestly, the Mayan Princess was so nice we didn’t really hang on the beach like we expected.

Just what we needed

The condo was perfect! It was clean and functional. The walk to the beach was short (there are steps, if you take a wagon, be prepared to hold the back end on the steps up and down). The pools were great. Property Mgmt was top notch, both on property and behind the scenes. Courtney is fantastic. This condo is highly recommended.

Perfect place to relax!

This was the perfect place for my spouse and daughter to relax and enjoy Port A! The condo was decorated beautifully and EVERYTHING was labeled! It has a beautiful view of the pool and you can see the ocean from the patio. We spent most of our time outdoors, but the beds were super comfy and my daughter enjoyed the bunk beds! We will definitely be back and will be renting this place!

Amazing space

There is literally nothing wrong with this place. The kitchen is well stocked, the location is far enough from the pool to not be impacted by the noise but close enough that it's a short walk to the pools and just through the pools to the beach. My wife and I had a very relaxing stay.

Beautiful condo

I was a little disappointed in that we would be able to view the Gulf while we lounged around. However, it was wonderfully decorated with everything one would need. Just bring the food! Wonderful property with many venues for fun! We will be back!

Enjoyed our stay.

The room was clean, and well appointed. My wife enjoyed the large soaking tub. The room was very near the pools and the bridge to the beach. The pool's were clean, with plenty of space to spread out. The bridge to the beach was not near as long as others, so getting to the sand wasn't a daily hassle. We were about a 5 minute drive from the nearest gas station/food mart. The one issue is that I never received a response from the On Island Time property management team, after a reservation note, and subsequent follow-up voicemail regarding possible early check-in. I did however get a response by calling the Mayan Princess directly. All in all a great place for a pleasant weekend, beach get-a-way.
