Pelicans Place LCV23 has great views from the deck, of the dunes and Gulf of Mexico horizons just beyond. This beach house has 5 bedrooms, and 4 bathrooms and offers wireless internet. The exterior stairs lead to the 2nd floor entrance to this home. Sit back and relax on the ample couch space in the second floor living room and enjoy watching the 46” Flat Screen TV. The second floor also has a full kitchen, dining room, and two bedrooms (2 sets of bunks in one and the other has a queen bed and bath). Go upstairs to the third level for the Primary Bedroom with a king size bed and an awesome unobstructed view of the Gulf horizon. The separate first floor is not internally accessible to the second floor. You will find two more queen bedrooms, a bathroom, washer/dryer, living/dining areas and its own kitchenette on the first floor. Grill is not provided. This unit has no interior stairs. NO GARAGE ACCESS!

A wonderful home! This was a family beach trip for us and the walkway to the beach was great for the moms with little children. They could bring the little ones back for their nap.The balcony in the back that overlooks the dunes was wonderful also. We spent evenings up there. This is our second time to rent this home and we will definitely be back.

Family Vacation

Property was great size and spacious for everyone. Short walk to the beach. Several lights and fans did not work inside on all floors. All patio lights outside on all floors did not work except for one light in driveway. Washer didn’t work. No utensils or cups downstairs.

Beautiful House-Perfect Location

We had a wonderful week staying at Pelicans Place LCV 23. The walk to the beach was not far and the views were great! There is an inside staircase to the 3rd floor master room (the house description says there is not). A grill is NOT provided even though there is one in the pictures. Luckily we had brought our own grill and griddle. According to the HOA regulations a grill can not be with 10' of the house. This was an inconvenience, since it rained the majority of the time we were there. But the house was fully stocked with everything you need to cook with!

Pros - Great location. Beach is walking distance. Enough space for 2-3 families with kids. Maintenance available 24/7 Cons - Bottom floor smelled unpleasant. No connectivity in 1st and 2nd floor from inside the house. Water leak on first floor, though attended by maintenance caused inconvenience during the stay.

The property was clean, convenient, comfortable with all the appliances, kitchen wares, & normal room needs that we might want & it was all decorated in a tasteful and artsy manner! The property was well equipped, better than we expected! It worked out very well for our whole family, And it was also fairly close to the beach, which is where we spent a great deal of time! One thing that you might want to fix is the wood flooring in the living room hallway on the 2nd floor. It's bowing and coming apart. Thank you!

Disappointed

The reviews are very much true. The listing say remodel home but the 2nd floor is very uneven, there a spot on the floor that Dips in and feels like your going to fall through the floor. Bunkbeds are not very sturdy they wabble alot they look like there about to collapse. Sheets were not cleaned some rooms had sand in the sheets, we even found a poop stain on one of the of the beds. There was dead wasps on the windows. Some of the ceiling fans do not work. The washer is extremely loud. Bottom sliding door does not lock they have a stick on there so it wond open. Overall for the amout of money that we paid is was not worth it. They hype the price up they actually should really look into that 2nd floor that's a safety issue. Oh yes and also kids couldn't play outside on the grass due to there so many stickers in the ground they keep gettingpokedby them, I am not overreacting there was alot, even one that stay in the house step on one. The only good that came out of this home was how close it was to the beach, other then that this home needs alot if work, they actually should rent it out without fixing it 1st someone gonna get hurt. 1 star for me not going back.

Take a breather

This has been our 2nd year staying at this property. I like the downstairs for my elderly parents and the upstairs for our adult children and grand baby. We did have some minor issues with the property the drier wasn’t working and the sink had a leak. When I contacted the property manager they had someone over to try to repair the items. But over all it was a good stay.

Family Vacation

The location was great compared to the previous house we stayed at that was closer to the road. The listing said there were no interior stairs but there are from the second to the third floor. We had trouble the first day and a half because a breaker flipped and we had no tv or internet until someone came out to access the breaker box. We also had to have house keeping come the first day because the bottom bunk bed had blood on comforter and was soaked through on both flat and fitted sheet from that bed. They were quick to bring us replacements. We also found some trash on the very top balcony and chapstick on a top bunk. The listing specifically said no grill and to bring your own sand toys but there was a grill and tons of sand toys in the deck box by outdoor shower. Overall we enjoyed our stay and they were very quick to come and fix the problems we had.

The house had plenty of rooms and bathrooms for our family vacation children and grandchildren were happy with arrangements. However this home has some structural issues that need addressed for the safety of future renters.

Amazing Stay at Pelican’s Plave

We have a. Large family of 7 adults and 6 children. We chose this house because of the three stories so we would have room to spread out! Perfect choice! The house was amazing and only a 2 minute walk to the beach. The community does have a private boardwalk to the beach which was very convenient. We definitely would stay here again!

Birthday weekend get away

It was a great place, we enjoyed our stay. At first we thought it was weird to have 2 bedrooms on the lower level but it worked out great for my elderly parents not having to go up and down the stairs. I love the outdoor shower to rinse off the sand. I would return.

The Perfect Vacation

Our Family had a great time at Lost Colony, Port Aransas. Perfect house, with everything one could possibly need, very clean and accommodating. Access to a very clean and beautiful beach. Close driving distance to town. Would definitely consider staying again and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect family vacation rental. Thank you so much!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this facility. We had 6 adults and 3 kids with us. It's close to the beach and you can walk down there in about 10 minutes. You can get into Port A in 15 minutes or choose to go into Corpus as needed. We brought plenty of food and basically enjoyed the property. Nice sound system for outdoors. The bar b que grill needs replacement, but that was a minor thing and didn't stop us from grilling some good meals.

Best stay in Port A!

We usually rent condos at La Mirage, Sandcastle or Port Royal. Due to damage and limited rooms we decided to go with a beach house this summer. It was the best decision we ever made for our annual family trip. My parents, my husband and I, my sons and their wives, and my nieces all had our own room. We all got to hang out on the huge deck in the evening together, when we barbecued downstairs, the patio was big enough for all of us to hang out while my husband cooked in the yard area. They had a nice stereo system for us to listen to inside and outside on the deck. The bedrooms, living room and kitchen were nicely furnished, and the shower outside was a great way to get off all the beach sand before going into the house. The pool was 2 houses away and a good size and best of all, the beach was a 3-5 minute walk from the house! It was a fantastic experience and we will definitely rent the same house again!
