I needed a 2 night weekend beach getaway for myself and kids. I have been to Mustang Island and Port Aransas 50+ times since living in San Antonio. This location offered everything I was looking for. This condo located in El Constante is directly on the beach. Everything was as advertised for a rental. place was very clean, spacious for 1 adult and 2 teens, we all had our own sleeping space. You can walk right out on the beach, or drive 30 seconds to take your chair, cooler and gear. very nice pool with fountain, hot tub. and for those who enjoy fishing, the Packery channel is walking distance, We did all of this! Plenty of local options for restaurants, pizza, gas. Condo had all the kitchen items for cooking. no issues with check in, and I was even able to extend my checkout hours for reasonable fee. I will definitely plan to stay at this location again for future beach trips, much better option and cost compared the hotels nearby. most of all my kids enjoyed it, and they are ready to go back to the island.
Great location, beach front. warm pool usually shady. Office staff friendly and helpful. Our condo 233 needs some work: the chair in the living room has loose legs and wobbles; the chairs on the balcony are rusty, the towels are old and a little scratchy. However, the important things were fine - clean, kitchen well supplied, all appliances work fine, WiFi good, beds comfortable.
Very clean property; enjoyed close proximity to beach. Good accommodations and good communication. Some wear in spots - a/c unit struggled to cool upstairs, ice machine was frozen over, dish washer didnât dry dishes.
Short stay but very enjoyable. Proximity to the beach was perfect for a short stay. We could spent more time at the beach and less packing the car and traveling. Pool was a nice addition when the beach got too hot. Unit had everything we needed!

The escalation in Cost to stay has risen too sharply. The interior is falling apart. Ive been shopping for a place of my own. Taxes doubled on Island properties. They thought the Schlitterbahn was going to add a boom to revenue, but they're parking lot is almost empty. Shop around!!!
