We go to Mustang Island Beach club every year since 2015. This is the worst stay we ever had. Check in was smooth however going into the unit. There was a total of four towels for six people, there were crumbs and dog hair left on the main sofa, and the comforter on the primary bed had a blood stain on it. In the evening at 8 o’clock raccoon was stuck in the fireplace. We had to call the emergency and they came out where we had to go to a whole different unit and a whole different property. I had four children with me so having to pack up everything and put it in the car take it to the next property and it took us almost 2 hours in the middle of the night total. We appreciated that we actually had a place to stay however, the inconvenience was horrible. The host did not reach out to me apologize or anything else like that which really put a damper on things. I understand there isn’t anything they could have done to get the raccoon out that moment however, the fact that there wasn’t any type of acknowledgement or anything makes me think that our time and money was not put into consideration
