We enjoyed our stay especially the pool. Everything went pretty smoothly with check-in and check out. Only “complaints” were that the ice maker did not work in the fridge and our first night, the neighbors were having a party with music bouncing late into the night. I guess that’s what you might experience during spring break. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Photos & description are misleading. Roll away beds were broken but replaced. Appliances are old and rusty. Dishwasher racks do not fit dishwasher. Management Company did not positively respond. Ice maker dispenser did not work. Carpet stairs were stained. AC too cold in some rooms & too hot in some rooms & we could not regulate the AC temps. Living room furniture old & cushions need to be replace. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN!!!

A few issues

Our stay was not horrible there was a few issues with the place the sink had a major leak under the bottom anytime you washed dishes it would leave the knives were broken and rusted. The washer did not drain and dryer would not dry the light fixture upstairs was broke just hanging the plug outlet in the living room broke big enough hole for a kid to put their finger in and get shocked. The ac for some reason would cause condensation and leak through the vent in the downstairs restroom. The cabinet in the kitchen has a big section that is peeling off

Adequate

The reason I gave adequate as a rating for the property was because it didn’t give me the feeling of support I expected from this type of rental. Nagging details, yes, but they were still there such as minimal trash bags that turned me off to feeling I was supported. A hotel I could ask housekeeping if I needed extra bags for something. On the other hand when the dryer wouldn’t work I was pleased by the responses from management. When I presented this review to my wife she wanted to include pool as another positive to our stay. She and the grandchildren spent hours there. I’m grateful that the unit was available on short notice. Having it for my family was a big plus.

Father’s Day weekend

We all had a cozy comfortable room to sleep in. The AC was super cold , the kitchen had everything we needed to cook with . The Pool was nice and clean. Every room had a TV. There was even extra clean blankets to use. Overall we had a great time with all my family being able to be together. Thank you

Enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our stay. Property manager was great in working with us when we needed to modify the reservation. Only thing is that I would not recommend staying here with babies, toddlers, or young children learning to walk, as floors are concrete. Also rollaway beds shown as put together/made up on listing, but they were not. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Toilet seat was broken, cobwebs under dresser, shower was painted and some of paint peeled every shower, rug under dining table was curled up tripping people, refrigerator light was out, ice maker didn’t work, and dishwasher did poor job of cleaning.

Great location but

Location, sleeping room and 3 bathrooms were perfect for our large group. The living room furniture was very used, stained and uncomfortable. WI-FI was horrible, tried to work a couples hours in the morning but had to go to Starbucks. We tried to reset and called customer service. Also had a bug problem, ants and black small bug and found a cockroach ran across the clean dishes.

Good place needs WiFi upgrade

This is a nice place and suitable for a crowd but not with the current WiFi setup. There was no WiFi upstairs at all. Cooking was easy and furniture was good in the unit, but kids and family were disappointed in the WiFi.

Great place to stay

The room set up was perfect for our family. It seemed to be an older place, but clean and well taken care of. Pool area was nice, but cold. Management was quick to come and turn in the heater. It didn’t heat up very much before we had to leave. Easy check in and check out. Just wish there was a hot tub.

Great property!

Perfect property that met our needs. About a 5 minute drive to the beach and short drive to grocery stores and restaurants. We had 8 in our group - my husband and I, my mom, and our three young adult children and their significant others. The older adults stayed downstairs while the young adults stayed upstairs. The stairs are kind of steep, so it was tough on older knees. We had plenty of room and enough beds for everyone. Having three bathrooms was great for our group and had plenty of towels. We enjoyed the full kitchen and dining area, as we stayed in most nights for meals. The kitchen had everything we needed which was a big plus. We did not use the back patio as it was not private and too close to the property adjacent to us as they were usually taking up too much space and smoking outside. The pool area was nice but was crowded most of the time so we did not get to enjoy it. But we spent most of our time at the beach or exploring the island. Overall, this place fit our needs and our budget and we would definitely stay here again.

Pre Memorial Day Stay

Unit was very clean, but ice maker dispenser had black mold on it (where ice came out). Upstairs shower water pressure was very low. We experienced about an hour delay because cleaning crew had dead bolted entry door (from inside). Padre Escapes was prompt and courteous to respond. Would suggest being careful around platform beds if you have children as frames stick out and are easy to bump into. location is convenient to beach and restaurants.

Awesome to sum it all up.

Just as advertised. Pool was great. Distance to beach was just around the corner. If I had any questions the staff was available on text or phone to answer anything I needed. Will definitely recommend and will stay again. Thanks for a vacation that provided far less stress than staying anywhere else.
