Our room was in the former Place Hotel building which always had great music playing when you walked in but smelled pretty musty. We were in a room just outside the breakfast area which was super convenient. It was also adjacent to the breakfast prep room for staff which was horrible because they were in there banging around at 5am each morning so there was no sleeping in.

For some reason the room was too warm most of the trip. Despite the thermostat saying it was 62 it felt like 75. It was also on cool. It wasn’t till the temperature outside was high enough to kick in the a/c. That was the last night unfortunately Also we disappointed to find the free breakfast was a continental breakfast.
