Hi, the property is a 17th century Inn, so I expected a bit of Quirkiness !! ie having to bend at the knees to have a pee, but that shouldnât have affected âBreakfastâ !! which was very disappointing.
The place needs to give serious thought to how it can operate a breakfast service that is acceptable.
Breakfast fare was pre cooked & placed in non heated containers on a very small bar top (more a shelf) for clients to help them selves. Milk was a plastic unopened bottle on the top & there were no EGG options at all.
Obviously no servietteâs !!
So, to conclude, breakfast did not meet the minimum standard one should expect, far from it.
No wonder they donât do any other food, they canât even cope with a breakfast.
Also, off road parking is minimal (4cars) âŠâŠ
I probably wonât hear back from Expedia but âThe Crown Hotelâ, I would suggest, is doing them no favours.
More than disappointing that I paid in excess of ÂŁ100 for this experience.
Has put me off using EXPEDIA going forward.
Kind Regards
Richard Tallentire
