The cottage is ideally located. It's a short walk to High St. shops, restaurants, cafes as well as coastal walks along the Solent. M&S and Sainsbury's are within walking distance. Waitrose is a short ferry ride across the river to East Cowes. The cottage was clean and tastefully decorated; the beds were comfortable. There is an amazing front garden and patio. We especially appreciated the responsiveness of our host, Jasmine. We asked that the cottage be cleaned with scent-free cleaning and laundry products because of our allergies. She not only complied with our request, but she left scent-free hand soap, washing up liquid, and detergent for us. When we requested a new cover for the ironing board, she brought one over minutes later. When we left, my wife had forgotten some cash and credit cards. We cancelled the cards right away of course, and we expected the cash to find its way to an underpaid cleaner, but Jasmine found the money and sent it back to us.
Very well equipped, clean and well presented property, perfectly located for Cowes. We really enjoyed our stay. Could use a new kettle, as the existing one drips hot water when pouring, but an easy fix and otherwise excellent.
A lovely and well-maintained cottage perched on a hill with seaview. We stayed for 6 nights and the property was within walking distance of shops (M&S and Sainsbury's) and restaurants - everything was so convenient. It started to get a little chilly towards the end of our stay and we had to put on the heating which caused excessive condensation - in particular the bathroom where there is no extractor fan, which I recommend the owners to install to avoid further damage to the interiors. Other than this, we enjoyed our time staying at the Mulberry Cottage.
We really liked this pretty, well appointed, compact cottage with great views. The location was quiet and private, in a beautiful setting on the owner's property but just a stone's throw from the main street in Cowes. The owner was very friendly and quick to respond to queries. Would recommend for a group of 4.
Small but perfectly formed, the house was well appointed. An amazing location in the heart of Cowes. We had a great stay.
We had a couple of small issues which were resolved quickly by the incredibly responsive team
