A real gem, hidden in the lovely Devon countryside. The flat is exceptionally well equipped and cosy. Barnabas and Campie are the most attentive hosts; they made us feel part of the community.

If you are looking for a restful holiday, against a beautiful scenic back drop, staying at The Apple
If you are looking for a restful holiday, against a beautiful scenic back drop, staying at The Apple Store is for you! The property is delightfully remote, a complete change to the hustle of a city. There are a number of National Trust properties around the area, which is what drew up to this accommodation. Getting to the coast is also easy enough. You will have to navigate country lanes, some very narrow and some where the country is attempting to take the road back. This was fine for my city style driving in July, but I may question my ability to handle the roads safely in the winter. The accommodation was amazing, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The hosts are welcoming, but non-intrusive. This really is a case of what you see in the photos is what you get!
