Summary:
Luxurious 3 bedroom, 3 bath condo at Black Bear Lodge. hot tub, close to slopes!

The Space:
Gorgeous modern influenced renovation, top floor corner unit in the Black Bear Lodge!  With vaulted ceilings and gorgeous views of the mountains, you have found a beautiful space to call home for a few short days or a few weeks. Access to the Westwall lift and use of a ski locker make skiing a breeze from this location. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS CONDO IS FOR SALE AND ALL OPEN DATES ARE HONORED. WE ARE ONLY BOOKING 60 DAYS OUT. WE HAVE REQUESTED 24 HOURS SHOWING NOTICE FROM THE LISTING BROKER.

Located on the 2nd floor of the lodge, this unit has all the amenities you could need.  This condo lives much bigger then its square footage.  All the living space and 2 bedrooms are on the main floor with a lovely open floor plan.  The living/dining/kitchen allow for any entertainer to be part of it all while they prepare dinner or serve their hungry crew of outdoor enthusiasts. 

The galley kitchen with knotty alder cabinets and granite countertops is equipped with everything you might need.  You can seat 6 comfortably at the dining room table with 3 additional seats at the bar top.  There is a small deck with a table and chairs off the bar area.  Also on this floor are the 2 guest bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms both with natural stone throughout.  One has a queen bed and the 2nd has a bunk bed with a twin over a full bed.  Both bedrooms have televisions.

On the top floor you'll find a private primary suite with a king sized bed and large bathroom and walk in closet.  The bathroom has both a shower and a separate jetted bathtub and 2 sinks.  The primary bedroom also has a television and a small private deck.

All of our kitchens are fully stocked with pots, pans, cookware and utensils. While most properties have salt, pepper, and basic cooking pantry items, we do not guarantee these will be available upon arrival.

There are very few properties on the mountain with heated, underground parking and Black Bear Lodge is one of them! No more scraping your windshield or having to warm up your car.  1 designated parking space is available in the garage.   Another unassigned space is first come first served anywhere that is an unassigned space on the premises. The garage entrance/clearance is 94 inches.  An elevator takes you and your luggage from the garage directly to the second floor. If you don't feel like driving your car, the shuttle bus stop is right on the corner of the street (about 25 yards). This makes traveling to and from town or the base area super easy.
Additional features of the lodge: hot tub, large lodge room with TV for gatherings, ski locker storage and an outdoor gas grill. 

No trailers or RV's are allowed at this property due to town regulations and/or HOA covenants.

All of our properties have a 5 night minimum for the main summer of 6/26-8/8/2026 until 1/1/2026 at which point our minimum night stays will be reduced to 3 nights.

The minimum age for all persons in this property is 25 years, excepting children (of all ages) with their parent or legal guardian.
Please note that we do count all children and infants in the headcount for the property.

Parking:
Parking for sidewalks, valley pan, driveways, and entrances must not be obstructed or encumbered or used any purpose other than ingress and egress to and from the Lodge. Parking on the driveway is expressly prohibited at all times.
Garage passenger Deeded Parking Spaces: Parking within garage deeded parking spaces is limited to vehicles, licensed motorcycles, and street legal motorbikes. No motor vehicle shall remain parked on the property unless it is in good working condition and used for actual transportation. No spaces may be used for personal property storage, vehicle repair, construction or any other purpose. Vehicle repairs, other than emergency repairs to remove a vehicle from the premises, are prohibited.
Garage Guest Parking Spaces: Parking within garage guest parking spaces is limited to passenger vehicles, licensed motorcycles, and street-legal motorbikes. No vehicle may be parked in garage guest parking spaces for more than two weeks continuously without the prior written permission of the Board of Directors. No spaces may be used for personal property, vehicle storage, vehicle repair, construction or any other purpose. Vehicle repairs, other than emergency repairs to remove a vehicle from the premises are prohibited.
Porte-Cochere Parking Spaces and Outdoor Parking Spaces: Parking within porte-cochere parking spaces and outdoor parking spaces is limited to passenger vehicles, licensed motorcycles, and street-legal motorbikes. These guest parking spaces are for temporary-parking only. No continuous parking is permitted at any time.
Parking Permits: All vehicles parked within parking spaces on the Black Bear Lodge property must display a valid Black Bear Lodge parking permit. parking permits are supplied by the Managing Agent and are available at the owner’s request.
Illegally parked vehicles, recreational vehicles, trailers, derelict vehicles, or stored personal property in any parking space will be removed or towed at the owner's expense with or without notice.

Guest Access:
Check in instructions are emailed 3 days prior to your arrival at 4 pm MST.

The Neighborhood:
The Black Bear Lodge is a luxury condominium complex located across the road from The Westwall Lodge and lift. It has a gathering space on the main level where there is a tv, fireplace and comfortable couches. The locker room is off this room. The complex offers its own parking garage with elevator access to all levels.

Getting Around:
It is likely easiest if you do rent a car to get around but there is a shuttle that will stop just a 1/4 block from the front door and take you to the base area. You can also walk across the street, through the Westwall patio (there is an easement) and to the slopes right at the Westwall Lift.

property was ok. I didn't care for the idea that the only exit from the property was thru the front entrance. although there are additional exits like the stair towers, once outside, your met with a large hill of snow. Really not sure of why the building is locked up like Fort Knox. during our stay, there was little to no hot water for a couple days straight.

GREAT Location - Very Comfortable

Everything advertised and more! I was a little worried at first when reviewing the photos thinking the unit, though spacious, would be a little tight, but that was not the case. A very large master suite and the two main floor bedrooms (all en suite) provided very comfortable sleeping. The unit is very spacious and accommodating and while the kitchen is just a "little" tight, large enough to allow two cooks to prepare meals. All of those windows let in all the sunlight after a day of skiing / riding, with comfy seating to enjoy aprĂ­ ski. And just a short walk across the street to two lifts to start your day. Highly recommmend.

Late Summer Getaway

Condo was exactly as advertised, super clean, great location- walk to the base and a bus stop right in front of the building. Incredible mountain view right outside the upstairs bedroom and main floor patio. Large table was great for games and the hot tub was just steps away. Plenty of open parking spaces in the garage. Art Festival made it a great weekend to be up in CB. Dinner and margs at Bonez was 10/10.

Beautiful condo and excellent location

One of the best condos at Black bear. Absolutely beautiful. The condo has plenty of living space for a group of 7. Each bedroom is a nice size with its own bathroom.. completely updated. The management was great and checkin was easy. Would definitely stay here again.

Crested Butte fun

The condo was terrific! Very modern and up to date. It even had more kitchen appliances than expected. All the bedrooms and bathrooms were very nice and the fireplace was great. The best thing of all was the chairlift was just across the street and very close. We also had a good time in the outdoor hot tub. It was a exceedingly nice place to stay and we had a great time.

We had a nice time at Black Bear Lodge. It is not ski in / out. You have to walk across the street and around another Condo Lodge that is ski in/ out, then walk to the lift to put on your skies. The condo was nice and comfortable. We would stay here again.

A Wonderful Place

Loved this place. Way to access
 only a short walk to the snow to ski down to the kids. Great views. The condo was super nice. Very clean and nicely decorated. Beds were super comfortable. Had a great time and will definitely want to come back to this place!

Crested butte last minute stay

We met friends in CB last minute and booked this condo. It’s a very nice condo which allowed each to have their own bedroom. It’s up at the resort which meant heading into town for the evenings which is no big deal if you have a car.

Great CB Spot!

We really loved this property for a ski vacation with kids. Home is spacious, well appointed, and comfortable for relaxation after the slopes. You can walk across the street to the base of Westwall Lift and keep skis in ski locker. We loved that the underground parking was easily accessible with a topper on the top of our car. We'd absolutely recommend this condo!

This is NOT Ski in/Ski out.

Ski in/ski out means you can ski to your property. This is not a ski in ski out. There is about a 500 yard icy hike around another property including several steps with all your equipment. The property was nice, the property management was marginal. We never did get our ski locker, so we had to lug our gear up to our room every day. The code to get you in the garage does not work which is frustrating at 11 o’clock at night when you just arrived and trying to get into the building there is no way to contact the management effectively. It does not sleep seven people comfortably. Aside from the management issues and the false advertising, the property is really nice. I would say it sleeps six comfortably.
