The surrounding White Carniola (Bela Krajina) region is known for its unspoiled countryside where you will find stunning hiking and mountain biking trails.
Crnomelj is a 10-minute drive from the apartment. This historic town provides most necessities in the local supermarkets or smaller stores. Crnomelj is also home to a fascinating medieval castle and The Church of the Holy Spirit which dates back to the 15th Century. The Crnomelj Wine Cellar is a great place to sample the finest local wines and they can even arrange group wine tastings.
Ljubljana’s international airport is just over 2 hours away. Zagreb’s Franjo Tudman Airport is closer, 1 hour and 10 minutes from the apartment.
