The Old Crab Shop (TOCS) is an 18th century fisherman's cottage right at the top of the famous Gangway. One of the original Cromer Crab shops, it is now one of the best spots in town to watch the sun go down over the beach. TOCS has been beautifully renovated throughout giving you access to the beach within 50m. A romantic get-away, a cosy winter escape by the fireplace or a long summer stay. Pubs, restaurants, shops, cafes are within a stone's throw away from this little piece of history. The Old Crab Shop is a cosy boutique space, with a warming fire on the ground floor, dining and seating space, kitchen and sea facing front patio (enclosed). Sanded floorboards throughout the house, there is a staircase to the first floor, with a bathroom and sitting room, where you can listen to the waves. You can look out of the window to the sea, and the picturesque coastal painted cottages on The Gangway. Moving to the 2nd floor is a single bedroom, and a king-sized bedroom. This is a very calm, cosy historic cottage that's been newly fitted out with modern accessories. Super spot, direct access to the beach, watch the lobster pots come in on the fishing boats, Dog Beach is very close by, and Surf School / Paddle Boarding is also just 50m away There is free street parking directly outside the property. Due to the location, almost everything is in the immediate vicinity so walking is easy. An extra bed can be provided into either the master bedroom or the sitting room if needed. Cost of £40 for any extra guests.
