We rented this home to celebrate our one-year wedding anniversary, and what a wonderful getaway it was! The pictures truly don't do this home justice! The beautiful décor and thoughtful theme throughout made it feel so inviting, and everything was exceptionally clean. One of our favorite spots was the screened-in back porch, where we enjoyed our morning coffee. The outdoor swing was the perfect place to relax and watch the sunset, and the HUGE hot tub was an extra-special treat! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, including clean, newer utensils and cookware. Our only disappointment was the fishing. We had hoped to fish right off the dock, but the underwater grass was so tall that our hooks kept getting snagged. We ventured out to nearby boat ramps and public fishing spots but unfortunately didn't have much luck there either. There are, however, a couple of great bait shops nearby! We also loved exploring the surrounding little towns! There are charming antique shops, friendly locals, and some fantastic places to eat. The Italian restaurant in town was amazing, and so was the pizza place just down the street! One of the most fascinating things we learned was the history of the trees standing in the water. Apparently, the area was once a forest that is now underwater. Such an interesting piece of local history—Google it! Overall, we had an absolutely wonderful anniversary weekend! The home was beautiful, peaceful, spotless, and had everything
