Windspray is an original renovated 4 bedroom beach house offering accommodation for up to 8 people on 3 queen beds and a bunk bed (2 singles). This perfectly situated holiday home will delight those looking for a comfortable cottage by the ocean. The open plan living, dining and kitchen make for a relaxing getaway, with the outdoor covered entertaining area being a great place for lazy evening barbeques, a couple of drinks or just a quiet area to sit back and read a book. The kitchen is fully equipped, with laundry and second toilet off the entertainment area.
Venturing out and about, days are all about swimming, snorkeling, surfing, dolphin watching all year round and whale watching from October to November - all right in front of you. Of course, it may simply be about lazing on the golden sands with a good book. Only 50 meters away, the impressive 3km-long Culburra Beach is your second backyard and offers a great playground for your whole family.

Check-in and -out Times: During the busy months of December and January, the check-in time is 4 pm to facilitate peak back-to-back changeovers. Our standard check-in time is 3 pm and check-out time is 10 am. We offer a complimentary early check-in or late check-out time as a gesture of goodwill where booking and housekeeping schedules allow. Note that due to demand and housekeeping pressures, no early check-ins or late check-outs will be granted during the months of December and January. The safest way to secure an early check-in or later check-out is to book the property for an extra night. Contact us for a special rate for this extra night. All Sunday late check outs must be requested and approved prior to 5 pm on the Friday evening prior. All complimentary early check-ins or late check-outs must be confirmed in writing so that our housekeeping team are informed accordingly.
Guest Registration: Guest registration is mandatory for all bookings and replaces the need for a cash bond for short term bookings (up to 20 nights). It is essential for fraud prevention, damage claims, safety, and emergency purposes. The process varies depending on the online travel agent used. Direct bookings require the booker to upload a copy of their driverâs licence and credit card through our encrypted online process.
Additional Guests: The guest limits apply at all times during the booking. Any extra guests (this includes day visitors) above those that have been booked and paid for must be approved in writing prior to the stay. Only the guests staying at the property are permitted to be present. If you wish to have visitors in addition to booked guests, you must advise us in writing prior to your stay and ensure you receive written permission. This is not possible at all properties.
No Extras: This property is approved for accommodation only. No mattresses, tents, caravans or more cars than the property accommodates are allowed. Under no circumstances are the following activities permitted at any of our properties: motorbikes, dirt bikes, quad bikes, use of firearms or air rifles, fireworks.
EV Charging: For safety reasons and to comply with insurance requirements, guests are prohibited from charging electric vehicles at any property that does not have a dedicated EV charging station. Charging electric vehicles without proper infrastructure poses a fire hazard, and in the unfortunate event of an incident, insurance cover may be compromised, and the guest held liable. If in doubt, ask our team for the closest EV charging station.
Long Stay Discounts: Some of our properties are well suited to longer stays. For bookings of 30 nights or more, we may be able to offer a reduced rate compared to whatâs advertised. Please feel free to get in touch with our team with your preferred dates, and weâll be happy to look at the best available rate for you.

For medium-term bookings (21-40 nights) and long-term bookings (41-90 nights), a non-negotiable cash security deposit is required. This deposit is refunded after the departure inspection, with any damage or loss deducted. The minimum cash deposit is $2000, with higher amounts for larger or more expensive properties, or at the ownerâs/managerâs discretion.
Peace of Mind: For your added security we will never request payments be made to an overseas bank account and your money is held by us and not disbursed until after your departure.

The location was great, however the house was uncomfortable from the couch, bedding and overall feeling of the house. No AC and all the fly screens had either a big hole in it or ripped completely. We couldnât open any window to get some fresh air in, or if we did we had to deal with lots of flies. No sheets on beds, no blanket, only winter bedding which made night sleep difficult. I feel for the money we paid, we didnât get the right property. We were given a different address and different map location and it took us a while to figure out where to go. Very disappointed overall.
Good location but Stayz listing left out important details
WindSwept in a great location over road from beach. The beach is lovely and dog friendly.
We were disappointed in aspects of the house & the experience- mainly because pertinent info about the property and the terms/conds were only revealed after I had paid completely. For example, you are not allowed into the property until after 4pm on your arrival day. I find this outrageous and at least 2 hrs later than anywhere else I have stayed. Also, the listing had said the property was pet friendly but only after payment was it specified that it was a limit of one pet. These details need to be clearly specified up front so you know what you are booking - not when your money has been taken and you can't be refunded. It certainly would have influenced whether we rented the house.
Also, the 2nd bathroom is not in the house but is more of an outhouse across a covered area out the back. The kitchen/living room is a lot smaller than the photos suggest too. Another big problem was that the front and backyard do not have a path so with the current rainfall the lawn is just a squelchy mud pit which just gets tracked into the house. Also, in terms of being dog proof, your dog would have to be quite small or not very agile to be kept into the yard bc the fence is only about hip high. I think this should also have been specified.
That said, we had a nice break here. The beds were very new, clean and comfortable. There is good WiFi and an enormous telly. House was very clean. Good amount of kitchen utensils and lots of cooking essentials provided. Another frypan would be good tho! Also, I would make the gentle suggestion that maybe you move the large family photo frames from the main living into the back room if you plan on renting the house out a lot bc it is a bit off putting for visitors.
