Convenient and Relaxing Lake House
Come and enjoy a peaceful vacation at the lake! You will feel like you are away from it all! YET - This house is very conveniently located only 7 miles from I-65 and 15 min from shopping and restaurants. There is a grocery store only 5 miles away! Attending a wedding or event at The Barn? We are only 9 miles from the barn. We are one of the closest available properties! :)
Bring your boat! There is a slip just for you at the boat dock. Enjoy our easy and gentle slope to the lake (which is hard to find on Smith Lake!!). If you would just like to catch some rays, lay out on the sun deck. Kayaks included in the fun!
Fantastic place!! Very cozy and well appointed. The host was great with communication! Would definitely stay here again. (Be warned that the spiral staircase leading to the lower level is very tricky - it was fine for us but if anyone has trouble with stairs it could possibly be an issue!)
My wife and I had a wonderful time here. The house was perfect for us and the dock was perfect for relaxing, fishing and docking our boat. It's not too far from town making it convenient for groceries and restaurants.
We really enjoyed our stay. The home is perfectly positioned in a tranquil cove but only a few minutes away from the main water body. Access from the home to the dock is only a short walk and the lower outdoor area is perfect for a family gathering. Host was very responsive and accommodating.
I love that this property is not close to the channel. It was very light boat traffic and no wake where the dock is which made it easy for swimming and fishing. Just an fyi for those swimming or fishing off the dock, dock is extremely hot on bare feet. Or at least it was for us, but it was over 100 degrees when we went. So keep shoes on or do what we did and spread a picnic blanket down on it so it wouldn't burn the kids.
