The Sea House : ocean views and nature reserve

The Sea House in Currarong is a large comfortable holiday home, full of artworks, offering accommodation with an open plan living area and a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. Sea House is only 150 meters away from the beach and backs onto bush land.


The upstairs living area has a long lounge and several chairs. The dining area has ocean views. The front deck has views to the mountains and ocean views.

The main upstairs bedroom has a king bed and large built-in cupboards. The second upstairs bedroom has a queen bed. The bathroom upstairs has a large spa bath and separate shower.

The downstairs main bedroom has a queen bed and built-in wardrobes. The fourth room has a queen bed.

The downstairs living/rumpus room has a lounge LCD tv and Bluray player. The downstairs bathroom has a shower, toilet and laundry sink and washing machine.

The backyard has a pizza oven, picnic table and benches. It backs onto a large grassy reserve and the park.

The SeaHouse is ideal for two families.

Currarong, near Jervis Bay, has lots of wonderful beaches. Abraham's Bosom is a family friendly beach, and Warrain beach which stretches all the way to Culburra is 11 km long.
There are cliffs, coves, and long sandy beaches. Bushwalking, swimming, surfing and snorkeling are all within minutes of the house. There is a short walk out the back to the cliffs to watch the whales from June to October.

Currarong has a great fish and chips shop, a newsagent, bowling club, postoffice, and a basic general store and bottleshop.

The local tennis courts are in great shape, so bring your rackets.

Nature Haven

The SeaHouse continues to be our favourite place to stay in Currarong . Perfect position in a beautiful bush setting . Everything you need for your stay and comfortable beds . Beach and activities within walking distance. Fantastic restaurant at the local club!

Needs some work. The door handle on the bathroom doorwas faulty and we were not able to open it. Quite dangerous if young children were in the bathroom. The beds are not the best.

Currarong Sea house

The house was spacious with a lovely aspect, trees and birds. However it had a feeling of being unkept with some safety problems. The bedding was poor quality and cupboards disorganised and unkept. The outside area was overgrown and the fenced area for dogs wasn't secure.

A satisfying vacation

The house is very spacious and in an excellent location not far from the beach. In the living room, we really missed at least one comfortable couch and a TV. I have to say that the bed in the right room upstairs is almost unusable for big boys like me so we didn't even use it. Kitchen, bathrooms and wifi were ok, access from the street as well. We didn't use the backyard at all because of the surrounding vegetation, which was quite neglected. With a little effort around the house, it would be a very tempting nest for nature lovers. However, what bothered us the most was the unpleasant smell on the lower floor, which is probably the result of moisture in the walls of the house. All in all, with a little investment in furniture and tidying up around the house, I would put 5 stars. This way, with due respect to the hosts, only 3.

Amazing relaxing getaway

We were so pleased with our wonderful holiday. The property was clean and as advertised. There is plenty of space for the family and even ocean views. The location was fantastic, a short walk to general store and easy beach access. The local club was close by also so nice afternoon lawn bowling. Book now you won't regret

Relaxing beach house

Another wonderful stay at the Sea House. We love the bush setting and artistic interior decoration . Clean and comfortable - and just a short walk to the beautiful beaches of Currarong . We recommend this peaceful home for a family or a couple. Love the local pizza maker, zacs seafoods and Bosom beach and surrounding bush walks.

Wonderful big house with excellent walks nearby

We brought our dogs and family and had an excellent time. The property itself is well kitted out making it easy for us to cook roast dinner and lasagne etc. The dogs loved the walks from the back of the property where you can walk for miles and miles through expanse bush through easy flat trails. We all loved taking our drinks to the nearby water and watching sunset by the ocean and river inlet. Clean, comfortable and the property manager was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. He even helped me recover items we accidentally left behind. Thank you...will come again!

Delightful bush getaway

Space for Everyone

Very easy to organise and good communication. The location was within walking distance to the beaches and local shop which has great coffee, and fish and chips. The house is well equipped to accommodate 8 adults; there was room for everyone and the beds were very comfortable. We liked that the TV was downstairs, leaving the upstairs for socialising, reading, playing games etc. Due to recent heavy rain, we didn’t use the backyard as it was very damp.

Seahouse is the perfect place to stay for a family - plenty of space and a lovely bush setting with plenty of nature around. Comfortable beds and tasteful interesting decor . A must for our family every year !

What a delightful week!

We have been coming to Currarong over NY for the past 10 years. The combination of perfect weather including a spectacular king tide made this one of the best trips, topped off by our stay at Seahorse. The place was roomy enough for teens, adults and pets. The front deck was the perfect spot for bubbles and sunsets and the reserve out the back was ideal for star gazing. The house was well laid out and comfortable. Rebooking for next year!

Family holiday

The Sea House was the perfect home away from home for our family holiday over Christmas. It was important to us to find a dog friendly property, somewhere close to dog friendly beaches and walks. The house was a short walk to the beach, well equipped, clean and comfortable. Currarong is such a lovely quiet location with beautiful beaches and surrounds. We would definitely recommend.

Idyllic home away from home!

Spacious house with lovely balcony and great back patio that opens out onto a private reserve. Kitchen stocked with all crockery and cutlery, cooking utensils, coffee makers etc - a true home away from home. Extra bonus were the local kookas that came to say hello every day. Make sure you check Zac's out for tasty fish and chips, but be warned they close early!

Good set up for Easter stay with family

Clean and comfy. Enjoyed the view of the sunsets from the upstairs living/dining area, and water glimpses. Kids were happy in downstairs, with parents/grandma upstairs. Plenty of room for all.

A fantastic getaway

The house was just perfect for our needs. Great layout, great position, great facilities. Loved exploring the area. The dog loved it too including swimming at the mouth of the creek. Highly recommend it. We'll be back.

Amazing garden

We really enjoyed our stay at The Seahouse. It was a short stroll to the beach, had enough board games to keep us occupied and we got to use the pizza oven and seating area outside which was just wonderful. Only improvement would be to remove the mustiness in some areas on the lower level.
