Hello! Thank you for checking out our rental property. You will enjoy this spacious 2000 SQFT, 4 Bedroom (plus an extra Queen bed in the family room,) 2 Bath, two car garage in Custer. This property is right next to the Rock Crest Lodge so if you are having a family reunion or wedding this is the place for you! Our nightly fee includes up to 10 people. We hope that you will find this home as charming as we do and will try to keep it as clean as you entered it. The home is fully stocked with towels, toiletries, linens, dishes, small appliances, utensils, pantry items, 1 play pen, books, 3 TV's and Wifi. You are within walking distance to downtown Custer and many area attractions. This home is right off Mt Rushmore road so if you have motorcycles you have 1/2 block of gravel to get to this home. Home has 2 separate WALL AC units that can handle hot days. This home is in town yet very quiet.

Perfect location for exploring Custer and all the usual go to places like Wind and Jewel Caves, Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park and Hot Springs. The place was clean and comfortable. Its just steps away from the Purple Pie Place, which is highly recommended.

Perfect for Family and Friend Group

Nine of us stayed here for our family and friend out west trip. Plenty of room for our 3 vehicles and 2 Harleys. Bikes were kept in garage. Layout upstairs was perfect conversation area for whole group. Deck was great too. We could even see Custer’s 4th of July fireworks display from the deck. A communication from host Lori.

Custer is wonderful!

This property was perfect for our family vacation to the Black Hills. We had very minor problems that we were able to take care of ourselves, so we had no need to communicate with the owner. The house is so close to major attractions, and the house provided a pass for Custer State Park. The Purple Pie House was too close— we visited often!

Owner was very good about keeping in contact with us if we had issues. The gas tanks were out of gas and before the owner could come with another tank we bought another one since we wanted to grill--she did offer to pay us back for that. Enjoyed the roominess of the house with 4 bedrooms and another area that had a bed with a sitting area. Patio on the front and deck on the back was especially enjoyable for our meals. Unfortunately, for the owner, it looks like some past guests took some framed art home with them since a few rooms had holes in the walls where art had been. The last guests also left dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Overall, a wonderful place to stay and would reserve again!!

Family reunion

The house was perfect for a group wanting to be outdoors, hike and see the local sights but also wanting a comfortable place to land with the convenience of local restaurants. The living area and outdoor space were great for visiting with each other. Wicked Espresso had great coffee next door and you have to try the Purple Pie Place which is also next door. And when an early evening hailstorm hit when we were driving home we were so glad there was a garage to pull into. We will definitely be back! The area was so beautiful!

Great stay in Custer!

The house was wonderful for our group of five adults. Everything was comfortable and clean, and it was so convenient to have access to a garage for our motorcycles. Lori was great to work with and we would love to stay again!

Location within walking distance to shops and restaurants and bars was a plus. Kitchen needed attention. Looked like someone hurriedly went thru kitchen just hitting the high spots. Dishwasher was full of dishes which we didnt know if washed and ran again. We had to clean counters and stove top before we could prepare food. Hope next renter finds it cleaner.
