I stayed at Chicland Hotel for three days and loved the stunning oceanfront views and the modern, eco-friendly aesthetic. The staff were exceptionally friendly and made the experience even better. The location is perfect—safe and close to everything. While the breakfast could be improved, the overall stay was relaxing and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Let me start by saying that every employee was very kind and always helpful. The hotel itself is visually appealing as you can see in photos. My wife and I stayed for four days and only learned once we arrived that the spa is indefinitely closed which was disappointing. Also, we’ve been spoiled by great breakfast everywhere we’ve stayed traveling around Asia. The breakfast at Chicland was a big let down. By our last day we opted to walk across the way to pay for breakfast. We ate at the rooftop bar and again, the food, although very beautifully presented, was mediocre. I hate to leave a negative review but hope that it will help travelers make a more informed decision.

In general the hotel was great, good location, great sea views, roof top bar and swimming pool and friendly and helpful staff. Where it failed badly was breakfast which was chaotic. We arrived an hour before breakfast was due to end and many items had already run out (pastries, fruit etc) and were never replaced. The coffee was the worse I had ever had. So definitely stay here but go elsewhere for breakfast.

Staff were very accommodating and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Restaurants across from hotel seem to be more of a tourist trap but there are plenty of walkable good restaurants nearby. Would stay again.

Great value for money. Location is good across from the beach. Beach further down on the right hand side is more fun with bigger crowd. Men staff downstairs were great and always have smiles on their face, help you with umbrellas if sunny hot day…etc. Women staff in buffet restaurant take long to clear used dishes on our table, I observed on three consecutive days. I hope they are more tentative and pay attention to the little details as such. Overall I rate this hotel very good, very sophisticated, clean and will come back.
