There were some nice aspects and it could have been a very good experiance, but the mouldy room wich had a humid rotting smell ruint it. We got welcomed with a cup of tea which was very nice, while a lady An was explaining us tour options that we could do. She got quite pushy to book one of here recommended tours which turned out were not worth the money at all. Nice tiels in the bathroom and great looking wooden furnitures in the room made it coosy but the rotten smell and the mould in the room made it a very unpleasent experiance.

The La An is a wee oasis in what can be a very busy Hoi An - especially if you are there at the same time as us (New Year). Hoi An can be super busy so it is great to have a place like the La An to retreat to. Anna, the hostess is lovely, very knowledgeable and friendly. She recommended the Memories of Hoi An show - unbelievably brilliant - if you go to Hoi An you must visit this - a fantastic spectacle that we only heard of through Anna. A brilliant hotel - I would recommend this to anyone

The hotel was on a quiet street just a few minutes from the night market and riverside bars but the room was not great. The TV was missing and the bathroom does not have a separate shower area which means the entire floor including by the toilet and sink get wet. There were also cracks in the walls and poor patch jobs in other places. The floors were not cleaned well because I had to wipe small particles off my feet before putting on my socks. The pool could barely be called a pool and was more like the size of a large hot tub and on the 4th floor—with no elevator in the building. The price is decent and location is nice but the rooms need to be fixed.

Great morning reception Anna was lovely and so friendly with our children. Room was fine and shower great, air conditioning perfect and cleaned daily. I would absolutely book again it was perfect for the price and great location just a few streets back from the noises

Room was dirty and had mould on the walls. We arrived having just been caught in a storm dripping wet through the lady member of staff then proceeded to have us wait to check while she finished showing a video on her phone to a friend. Then proceeded to try and sell activities. Before even letting us to the room to change out of our wet clothes. Very unimpressed as then the room had mould on the walls in the bathroom. Overall absolutely nothing like the pictures shown would not recommend this stay at all. Proceeded to move hotels to another as this one did not feel good at all.

We loved Anna and Lilly , they were very helpful and friendly.. breakfast was nice and the location is great!! But to be very honest I think the hotel needs a few things done to make it nicer .. we understand it’s an old property but it just needs to have some small repairs and deep cleaning to make it nicer. .. the pool area was very disappointing! But we did enjoy our stay

The staff were some of the friendliest people I’ve come across. All quite skilled in speaking English and always ready to give advice or book tours etc. Breakfast was always lovely and fresh. These rustic style rooms feel really appropriate for this ancient town. Hoi An.. All round great value for money. Super location.
