A unique treehouse nestled on 81 acres at Triple Creek Farms. Tucked into the hillside above Crooked Creek, this cozy getaway offers a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern amenities - all just 2 miles from Historic Downtown Dahlonega.
Whether sipping coffee to the sound of a babbling creek, listening to rain on the metal roof, or roasting marshmallows by the firepit, this secluded escape is perfect for couples or small families looking to reconnect with nature without sacrificing comfort.

‱ Al's Nest is located on Triple Creek Farms, a private 81-acre property with additional secluded rentals nearby. You may or may not see other guests - but privacy is always ensured.
‱ A well-maintained gravel road leads to the treehouse. Parking is typically within 100 feet of the unit. Guests will have to walk up/down a moderately steep hill by way of a mulched path and approximately 25 steps - very manageable for most, but not ideal for those with significant mobility limitations (it's comparable to walking to a dock at many north Georgia lakes). Landscape lighting provides a safe, scenic path at night.

Perfect space for my family to enjoy a couple nights away from home! We have an infant so plenty of space for him to explore and the windows were so great for him to see the beautiful views surrounding us. Plenty of space upstairs to put a pack n play and I was even surprised by the king size bed! Also loved how we could explore the property if we wanted to (but unfortunately didn’t have enough time to explore much). Wes was super quick to respond when we ran into an issue. Location was so perfect, less than 10 minutes away from downtown and 30 minutes away from Burt’s. Overall just a really great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this unique treehouse! It was the perfect spot for a quick getaway — peaceful, cozy, and full of charm. The attention to detail in every corner and the thoughtful amenities really made it special. Communication with the host was seamless and friendly. This was one of the coolest places we could’ve stayed in Dahlonega, for our “girls weekend”. The treehouse was very clean, meticulously decorated, with super nice hand soaps, face wipes, makeup towels etc. The small refrigerator even had several waters and sodas stocked. The back porch overlooks a stream that sounds so peaceful. The bed is very comfortable and linens are nice quality as well. I can’t say enough good things about this place. The owner is so communicative and easy to work with. Location is close to downtown and the wineries. The only slight drawback is what others have said
. from the driveway down to the porch is quite a hike. Steep incline on a few of the rock steps and “mulched”area before getting to actual wooden stairs down to the porch (which are fine). It’s absolutely nothing I would let stop me from rebooking again. As a matter of fact, we are already looking at booking another weekend in the next 3-4 months.. If you’re considering this property, don’t look any further, just book it

We had such a wonderful Labor Day weekend at this beautiful treehouse! From the moment we arrived, everything felt special and unique. The property was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, with every little detail adding to the charm of staying in a real treehouse.The setting was peaceful and relaxing perfect for unwinding and connecting with nature. We loved how private it felt while still being close enough to enjoy local attractions. The host Wes was responsive, welcoming, and made sure everything was just right for our stay.This was such a memorable experience, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for something truly different and unforgettable!

Weekend Getaway

Enjoyed our stay in Dahlonega and at Al's Nest. Very relaxing. Windy while we were there and being part of the trees was a very unique experience. Interior is very well designed and perfect for two people. A bit cool on bottom floor when it's cold outside - to be expected considering all the windows and gorgeous views.

Cozy and Fun

Al's nest was a fantastic little treehouse cabin. I really appreciated the personal service from the owner/manager, who was quick to respond to our questions and I truly felt his goal was for us to have a perfect stay, which we did. The house is small, but does not feel cramped. The bathroom was spacious, and we found room for 4 bags without tripping over them. Unfortunately, weather was not on our side, so we were not able to spend much time exploring the outdoors around the property, but be prepared for steep inclines if you do go out. Some things to note before your stay: It is a very steep walk down to the cabin. Anyone who struggles with balance will need help getting down there. On the plus side, there is a second loft that is hard to notice in the photos and was perfect for my young kids. They loved hanging out up there with their ipads. My daughter even slept up there. Additionally, the cabin was equipped with a keurig and plenty of kcups, some glasses and plates, and a toaster oven if needed. If you're lucky enough to get some rain, you'll love the peaceful vibe and sound of the rain on the roof! We had a great time and definitely plan to return.

We loved the treehouse! Everything was provided to make a cozy fire and walking by the babbling brook was so peaceful and fun. 10/10 would stay again! The location was perfect and just a short drive to downtown and trails.

5 STARS!

We booked this for our wedding weekend, and WOW! Let me just start out by saying that Wes is an incredibly accommodating host with great communication. First impression was awesome as you can hear the sounds of the stream located behind the home as you are walking down the pathway. The inside was beautifully decorated and bright, not to mention how cool the outside space is. From the back porch, to the fire pit below- everything was so cool. Location is perfect as you are only a few minutes away from the Dahlonega Square. Thank you again, Wes! We will be back for sure.

Wonderful Week

We spent a great week at this treehouse with our two late teenaged kids. Just enough room for 4 of us. The grounds were beautiful and so close to a wonderful downtown. We also visited a gold mine, lavender farm, several wineries and several waterfalls and hiking areas. Plenty to do, all within easy, short drives. Cabin was extremely clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. When we weren't out exploring, we were here, napping, reading and enjoying family time. Such a unique vacation, we will definitely do again someday. Thank you Wes!

Great Getaway

We had a great time at the Al's Nest Treehouse. The hospitability was top-notch with great communication with the owners. The treehouse had amazing views, all the necessary amenities, and was close to downtown. We will definitely be booking another stay, making this a multi-year adventure. I would highly recommend staying at any of the treehouses owned by this family. They are amazing!

Perfect Christmas getaway

If you are searching for a relaxing place to stay, look no further. Wes is an awesome host who makes certain you have everything you need for an unforgettable trip. This location is the best of both worlds, as it is perfect for those who desire seclusion in the woods, but great for those who feel the need to be close to town. Beautiful, Secluded getaway

Beautiful, secluded getaway quite close to Downtown but with the feeling of being far away and in the wilderness with only nature surrounding you. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay at again! Wes was great in providing information and answering any and all questions quickly!

The place was so amazingly cute, we felt right at home. It’s a great place to relax in the trees and nature while having all the amenities in the house and being close to town! We would go into town to walk around and get dinner and come back to the treehouse for a fire in the fire pit. Such a lovely time! Worth noting though, the pathway to walk to the stairs/ house is pretty steep. Not a big deal at all for us, but if you have an older person or someone who has difficulty walking it might be trouble for them, so just an fyi!

Anniversary stay in a treehouse

Our stay at this treehouse was amazing! We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and had a wonderful long weekend. Wes is a wonderful host and thought of all the details inside. We were very close to the square in Dahlonega but felt like we were off in a secluded area. The area is still under development so the gravel road is rough unless you have 4-wheel drive and the path/stairs in and out of the treehouse are a little steep but this just added to the charm and adventure of staying in a treehouse. We definitely be back!
