There was a rip on the couch in our room as well as the bathroom vanity was old and peeling wood. The toilet paper roll was also loose and falling off.

Showers are the worst
Showers are pretty awful because of the water-rationing shower heads (so dumb because everyone just showers longer), and there are no bathtubs, so you cannot wash your hair unless you have ten or twenty wispy hairs in total. If you need to take an actual shower and wash your hair, try another hotel. Seriously, you cannot get clean. Otherwise nice building with clean rooms.
