Waiting for general manager to call me

I checked into room number 609. I grabbed my shower stuff out of my bag and hopped in the shower. While washing my face I happened to look over to the corner of the room and noticed a pile of throw up that was un cleaned or even attempted to have been cleaned. I was immediately disgusted and got out of the shower as quickly as possible. I immediately put my clothes back gathered my belongings and exited the room. I spoke with front desk and showed them in horror. The girl at the front desk stated “ma’am that is just a stain and I know they have been working on removing a stain from the room.” When I zoomed in on the picture and pointed out the rice that was on / near the stain her expression changed. I demanded a full refund as I did not feel comfortable to even be offered a new room as they put me in a dirty room once no way would I trusted to have gone to another room at this establishment. I am still waiting on the general manager to contact me regarding a full refund.

I checked in and there was mold on my comforter l, went to the front desk and immediately notified her of the situation. First she says, it’s feathers in the comforter but when I told her no ma’am I know what a feather down comforter looks like and mold she gave me another room. Outside of this issue our stay was ok , the breakfast are is really small along with the bathroom.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Place in Dallas/ Arlington. We found the hotel to be super convenient for our needs. The staff was friendly and accommodating. One suggestion is the dining area...much too small for the number of people enjoying the delicious breakfast available to the people staying there. Perhaps opening up the Conference Room might work when available. Also the toilets in the rooms were very low for elderly customers. These are just suggestions. The pros definitely outweighed the cons!!
