I will sue this place. Rudest most disrespectful staff/ownership. Woke up to them beating down my door at 11:00 when I didn’t check out in time. Unbelievable. They tried to force the door open when I was buck naked. After I paid late check out fee. They treated me like an animal.

Staff was fine, room looked to be newly remodeled and clean, parking was pretty scarce. Only issue was we had a cockroach munching on pizza crust in the box after we got back a few hours after dinner.

Upon arrival we checked in and went to our first rm. There was a huge stain on the sheet. Changed rooms. Second room bedside lamp was smoking. A left over item from a previous guest. Before leaving we saw a roach. There were hangers but nowhere to hang anything. The blow dryer plug was cracked and I was afraid to use it! Would NOT recommend to ANYONE!

I had stayed a night at a Quality Inn in Cape Girardeau last night, and it had a nice pool and a good breakfast spread. For that reason, I tried this Quality Inn. The pool was totally green and not usable -- looked like it had been that way for awhile. It would have been nice if the website had mentioned that. Also, the breakfast selection wasn't as good as the one from yesterday, either.

Rude Guy

Check in was fine, room was updated, there was a male hotel staff that was extremely rude and disrespectful. I was there coaching for the weekend and some of my players came to the pool, there was less than 10 people there including my girls. The guy came out rude and told us to leave. After we checked out, my daughter realized she left something in the room and we called to see about paying for it to be mailed to us. The first time I was hung up on, second time he seemed to act like he was looking, and then my daughter called in tears. He took her number but I doubt that he will call. Would not recommend this place for more than a one night solo stay.

The building needs to be torn down. Public spaces filthy. Bathrooms 1950’s rehabbed. Messy dated workmanship. No toilet tissue. If it hadn’t been so late I would have driven another 100 miles to avoid this hotel.
