Ground floor: living room/kitchen (standard coffee maker/filters provided), small lounge (sofa bed), shower room/WC accessible for people with disabilities. First floor: bedroom/lounge (two single beds separated from the lounge area by screens), shower room/WC, two bedrooms (one with a double bed). Baby equipment available. Wi-Fi. Two televisions, one of which is a smart TV. Two small gardens with garden furniture (south and north facing), sun loungers, and a gas barbecue. Shared pétanque court for the two gîtes. Parking available. Two rowboats, two canoes, and one pedal boat are available free of charge at any time, along with life jackets and maps. Fishing is permitted on site. Shops are located nearby (bakery, mini-market, butcher, honey shop, pharmacy, doctor). There is a small market on Wednesdays. A public swimming pool is open in Benet (13 km) during the summer afternoons, and Lake Xanton-Chassenon is 19 km away. The Scarecrow Festival takes place in Damvix starting in May (a fun, signposted 3 km walking trail; duration 1 hour). Bicycles can be rented at the Damvix boat landing (10 m from the gîte). A small tourist train, the Tchou-Tchou, runs in the afternoons. The Damvix museum and its exhibition are also worth a visit.
