The casino next-door and party hosted made the room/bed on the 3rd floor (North wing) shake with bass all night. Impossible to rest. Hard to believe management/reception would dare assigning these rooms expecting anyone to sleep.

The area is sketchy. You have to put your luggage through a metal detector upon arrival. Luckily I was there just to sleep and catch an early flight out. The first room smelled like mold. The 2nd room was a little better. The staff was not thrilled to move me…Expedia says this hotel is “wonderful”. Very disappointing, never again.

Had a wonderful stay at the four points Dar es Salaam, location was great for getting around the city, getting the ferry etc, the harbour room views were stunning, could not fault the staff from porters to check in, restaurant staff etc, nothing was too much to ask. I will stay here again if I come back and can recommend it for a city hotel
