SunDown Cabin on Main Street in Darby

Nestled in the heart of town, on Main Street, this charming little cabin offers a unique experience.

The main level of the Sundown cabin is fully equipped with everything you need for your stay. The kitchen is well-stocked with a fridge, mini stove/oven, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee maker, and all the necessary dishes. A comfortable queen bed awaits you, adorned with a down comforter and Egyptian sheets. Your own private balcony deck to enjoy your mornings and afternoons.

If you are needing more space for adult children or another couple 
. please reach out to me because the Sundown cabin also has a full day light basement and for an extra 100.00 a night 
.which offers a small kitchenette. It includes a Keurig coffee pot, fridge, microwave, and electric stove top. A washer/dryer, a cozy queen-size bed, a bathroom, a shower area, and a large smart TV complete the downstairs space.

The outdoor space
you’ll have access to the side lawn, BBQ area, and fire pit. These amenities provide a perfect setting for relaxation and enjoyment.

Our goal is to ensure that you have a wonderful time in Darby as much as we do. We encourage you to relax and immerse yourself in the charm of this amazing small town in Montana.

Very very very nice clean lovely setting great view friendly deer for entertainment. Shana has thought of everything you may need to have a beautiful stay. Close shopping great restaurants .only one bad thing you don't want to leave. Many elk deer and bear to view in surrounding areas. Shana was very accommodating to ower needs and has lots of information.

The cute cottage in Darby

I loved my stay at the SunDown Cabin. It is so cute and cozy! It is located along 93 in Darby close to everything. Amazingly enough, you don't here the cars. The back of the property is more secluded and deer were out while I sat on the back deck enjoying my morning coffee. Shawna is a great host and goes above and beyond to give you a welcoming experience. She was also very helpfuI with directions to local places I wanted to visit. I also thought the price was reasonable for the area. I would definitely stay there again!

The cabin was perfect for my old dog - had a fenced back porch that's shaded all day, with great views of the hills and a field with horses behind the house. Nice grass yard area to hang out in as well. Saw many birds and deer too. Quick walk to downtown gave the perfect balance between scenic and easy access to restaurants and shops. The hostess was pleasant and very helpful!

Adorable little cabin on Main Street Darby

We had the absolute best time staying at Shawna’s Sundown cabin right on Main Street in Darby, MT. It was right next door to a great little breakfast restaurant. The cabin was stocked with everything you could possibly need for your stay. The bed and furniture were very comfortable and the multiple outdoor seating areas were so darling. We enjoyed coffee on the back patio that had a gate so our dog could stay out there with us. We enjoyed having a fire in the firepit that was provided. Shawna was a great host and great at communicating and provided a ton of information on the area and things to see and do. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Darby.

Best host we have encountered

It’s hard to figure out where to start. Shawna was so kind and detailed before we ever arrived that we knew the stay would be delightful right away. The property itself is so beautifully decorated and truly impeccably clean that it became a hunt for dust, just as a joke between my wife and I. We lost. Everything was just as described and the cute little town of Darby is a delightful place to visit. Great food, nice little shops and some of the friendliest people you will ever meet. Not to mention the beauty of the area. Shawna went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our time at her property. We are very grateful for the time we got to spend there and we can’t wait to do it again.

Perfect cabin to visit Darby!

Charming cabin in Darby

Lovely one room cabin. Very comfortable, cozy and clean - has a great vibe. Great Wi-Fi (which we needed for a work issue that came up). Walked 10 minutes to restaurant on “Main Street.” Host was great and very helpful!! Made it easy and very accommodating!

Adorable Cabin!

We had an amazing time at this cute cabin! It was well equipped and super cozy! Darby is a cute town and we enjoyed our stay. Shawna was absolutely amazing! Best host ever! She went above and beyond for us and we greatly appreciated her! Definitely take advantage of the Kayaks! The lake is beautiful. We spent our evenings watching the deer feed in the field behind the cabin. Breakfast at the Montana Cafe is a MUST! One of our best meals in Montana!

Absolutely Wonderful Stay at SunDown Cabin

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at SunDown Cabin in Darby, MT. My husband and I love visiting the Bitterroot Valley and all that it has to offer! Shawna was a wonderful host during the booking process and throughout our stay! Definitely one of the top hosts that we have ever had!! The cabin itself if beautifully appointed and so clean! It has everything that you could possibly need and more! Our favorite part was sitting in the beautifully manicured lawn overlooking the deer in the mornings and evenings and the horses during the day!! My husband and I and two large labs were extremely comfortable during our entire stay. The main part of Darby is a close walk and the river is also a close walk. We explored mountain lakes, hiked and took advantage of easily renting Shawna's paddle boards for an afternoon at the lake. Definitely check out the restaurant next to the cabin (Montana Cafe) for amazing breakfast and lunch, very large portions and extremely reasonably priced. We can't wait to come back and visit Shawna's SunDown cabin and already planning for next year!! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would across the board!! At one point, my husband said...this is the best VRBO we have ever stayed at!! Thank you Shawna for your wonderful hospitality and for sharing your little slice of heaven with us!!!

Perfect Darby Experience

Great ski trip

Location was right on Main Street in town. This is a perfect ski getaway. Small little kitchen but had all the things needed- spices, hot chocolate, coffee etc. Very cute place. Bed,linens,pillows were good quality. Felt like home. Shower was very hot which was nice after a day of skiing. Very well thought out cabin. Thanks. I will be back.

Shawna is very accessible and flexible. Due to weather we added a day to our reservation. Walking distance to everything you will need from groceries to shops and gourmet chocolate and coffee. The cabin is cozy and everything is well taken care of all the way down to the very nice decorative touches. We will be back in the spring! Thank you for helping the holidays be perfect!
