Welcome to the Hide-Out!
Private tropical retreat set on one acre of lush tropical gardens, you will find a modern two bedroom studio perfect for your Northern Territory getaway. Located just 25minutes drive from Darwin CBD, 10 Minutes drive from Palmerston, and a short stroll to Howard Springs Shops, Pub and Bakery. We are also on the way to the breathtaking Kakadu and Litchfield National parks.
The space
The charming interior features two bedrooms both with private bathrooms. An open plan kitchen living dining area that opens onto a large entertaining space with extensive lawn area that is fully fenced. We also have a 2 Bay undercover carport and a shed if your bringing your boat. We also have plenty of space to park a caravan or motorhome. Strictly no parties, large gatherings or events.

A beautiful and peaceful spot
Accommodation presents as in images. No nasty surprises. Just an absolutely stunning setting in a peaceful tropical location away from the rat race. Host was increadibly generous offering extra activities for the kids as well as pool noodles for swimming at Lichfield NP and supplying coffee pods and biscuits.

Gorgeous tropical retreat
This property is stunning, and has everything you could ever need! Beautiful coffee and biscuits supplied, even little containers of alternative milks! Truly the best experience I’ve had in accommodation in my life. The grounds are spectacular and the outdoor dining is like being in a restaurant. Honestly I would design my own house like this if I could! Ruth was a perfect host who was extremely helpful and understanding. A 5-star experience in every way!

The Hide Out is a great little place to stay.. It has everything that you need… All of the rooms were great and just having this place for myself and my daughter it was exactly what we needed… Will definitely book The Hide Out again when I come to visit my Dad next in Darwin…

Tropical oasis
Hands down one of the most beautiful and luxurious places we’ve stayed. Super private, peaceful and clean. Nestled amongst lush tropical gardens with an epic entertaining area. This was the perfect homebase for exploring the National Parks and Darwin. The hosts have thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. We loved the outdoor games and being able to relax out in the garden and watch all the beautiful birds. Lovely and spacious, we could’ve stayed here forever. Thanks Ruth and Joel!

We could have stayed forever! Lovely two bedroomed accommodation, stylishly designed and furnished, in a beautiful garden. The latter a birdwatcher's dream, if you care to spend a little time in the outdoor comfortable couches with a pair of binoculars. Ruth and Joel are charming - generous and helpful hosts. They offer outstaning value for money.

Magnificent designed, private retreat.
Ruth and Joel very very welcoming. The house was magnificent with fresh, clean outlook. We had a car bay and a shed for our caravan. It is perfect for people wanting a spot to store their van or boat while they freshen up and restock for the adventure ahead!
