Upon arrival, we could tell that someone had recently been in to clean but the smell was not refreshing. More like an old mildewed mop was used to run over floors before our arrival. When making the two bunk beds for my children I did not feel the sheets were clean and even had my husband come smell them. They stunk! The washcloth in the kitchen, that was fanned into the hand towel was still wet and reeked of a sour smell. So again, not washed and or clean. When the sheets were pulled back on the master bed, there was LOTS of what appeared to be short breed dog hair. Pure filthy. All of the glasses in the kitchen cabinets had a layer of dust on them from recent construction. The glass night stand had dog hair and dust. Not even wiped down prior to our stay. Highly disappointed in the cleanliness of the unit. The lower bunk bed had a missing slat with a screw sticking straight out of the wood frame that had already mutilated the mattress, cover, and sheets. When I striped the bunks to wash my kids sheets, the mattresses were urine soaked because there was not a waterproof mattress cover on the bunk bed. The floor was so disgusting that I made my entire family wear shoes the entire time during a vacation because I couldn't find time to re mop the floors on my vacation. Overall, this unit needs to be thoroughly cleaned. Management was helpful and brought in cleaning supplies but not what I wanted to do on my vacation.
