Several issues and extremely poor communication. First and foremost, the property description was NOT accurate. The property page states that there is a double sofa bed and that the house sleeps 20, this is not true as there was no double sofa bed and the property manager told us that sofa beds aren't allowed in rental properties in Davenport.
The pool also was not heated and in fact, the heater kept breaking. We contacted the property manager several times and we very rarely heard back. The few times we heard back, the response we were given was "This is not the only property I have, I have several other houses to manage too."
There was no soap provided and when we requested it be given, we were told that soap is not included despite the listing saying basic toiletries would be provided. Proper blanketing was not provided. There were light blankets in the closets but no comforters on any of the beds, just sheets.
Last but perhaps the most important, this is not a single property manager. It is a property management company and any time we reached out to get assistance, we worked with a different person, despite using the same "message host" chat in the Vrbo app. The property owner ended up messaging me on Whatsapp and that is where I could see that he was reading my messages but not responding.
