One night stay

We really enjoyed our stay, room was clean and large enough for three with a lovely view over the golf course and a little table and chairs to sit outside. The pool was warm ! So rare these days so enjoyed using that , staff all very friendly and helpful . We had a pizza and a couple of yummy cocktails on the bar all great .

Great stay but do need some monitoring on swimming

Great stay! Room was lovely, food was amazing (definitely recommend going half board!). The hotel is large and impressive and is a great place for a night away. The only thing which could have improved our stay was the swimming - we went to the children swimming slot but it was far too overcrowded for the size of the pool and the changing rooms and there is no one keeping control of this meaning children and adults are continuously bombing into the pool near little ones, and lots of families filming and using phones.

Just ok...

We stayed at the hotel for two nights and had requested interconnecting rooms, but unfortunately, we weren’t allocated them. When we inquired, we were told that none were available to move us to, which was frustrating as we were two adults traveling with three children. The beds were uncomfortable, and while breakfast was decent, the restricted swimming times for children were inconvenient. The jacuzzi was freezing on the first day and completely out of order on the second. The changing facilities were also disappointing—only separate men’s and women’s areas with no private family changing rooms. As a mother of three boys, this was a real challenge since they all had to use the men’s changing room, meaning I couldn’t take them swimming without their father. Additionally, despite clear signs stating that phones were not allowed in the pool area, several people were using them to take photos, and staff did nothing to address it, which was concerning. On a positive note, the local town was lovely, with some great independent shops. However, overall, our stay was underwhelming, and I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.

Hotel was spotlessly clean some areas looking a little.tired We upgraded to a superior room.but actually the standard room we had 3 weeks ago was much better Room seemed tired and dated with dark heavy furniture, was next to a walk through corridor near a conference room and above an exit door so all you could hear was the door slamming No plug for the bath which housekeeping did sort Could do with investing in some decent pillows so thin and soft no support at all (totally different to the standard room) Breakfast was top notch again couldnt fault a thing piping hot and plentiful and a good selection

staverton Hotel

A great hotel, clean and tidy, staff welcoming and friendly. The gym was fairly comprehansive, albeit the machines very old. Nice pool area, with steam room and sauna The food was basic and the burger i had very greasy, but the restaurant was nice.
