The town is heavily influenced by the Georgian and Victorian periods and there is a delightful park and brook running through the centre of town. Here you will find rare black swans and other wildlife.



The town’s railway station is nearby, offering good public transport links. The railway lines presence along the seafront make Dawlish a popular choice for train spotters and photographers hoping to catch a glimpse of the waves crashing over the exposed coastal route.
