The room smelled like dirty underwear . The curtains were torn. The carpeting was damp and musty smelling. The walls were thin and you could hear everything going on in the rooms around you. I would never recommend the Hawaiian Resort Hotel to anyone……except the homeless. They may enjoy the comfort and serenity. This is not a joke this was an honest evaluation

The rooms were not very clean. Plus you had no housekeeping service. You had to bring your used towels to the front desk for an exchange. And we had NO hot water in our shower. You had hot water at the sink but only cold showers. I will state that the staff I did having interactions with was wonderful.

Keep in mind this place has been hit hard by hurricanes it needs a little bit of help but the room was big The view was amazing and the staff at the front desk were very nice and they also offer night security in the parking lot... You have access to the beach I still cannot get over what an amazing view it has it has a nice outside pool and indoor games for the kids. And a nice little gift shop to get last minute souvenirs

Dated but still a good stay.

Dated but it was a good stay overall. It’s basically Russian roulette on if you get an updated room or a really dingy room. The first day / night we were there was rough with the A/C being out but once that was fixed it was fine. Room stayed cool & the tile floors stayed dry. Staff was nice & we loved that all rooms looked at the ocean. The room our parents had was nicer on the 5th floor than ours on the 3rd floor. I think if condo owners put any effort into making updates they could restore the life of this building. I’m sure this place was awesome back in its prime.

The beach view over the pool was wonderful. The staff were great. The maid service was not good. Room was dirty. Things were broke. Door was broke, curtains broke. And they never checked I needed anything. Had to go fine stairs with my dirty towels and sheets yovtradevtrembyir hew ones. The front desk employees were wonderful.

The dirtiest room i ever stayed in staff was really rude had problems trying to get toilet paper and didnt even get towels air didnt work in room must disgusting was looked like poop stuck on bathroom floor and had hair all over bathroom counter where someone had shaved i never complain but this was ridiculous

Floors were extremely dirty underneath the bed was covered with trash. It seem as if up under the bed haven’t been cleaned in months. Very quiet tho and friendly helpful staff. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Not a great stay

Lots of deferred maintenance issues, no housekeeping after requesting two different days. The people in room next door were massive amounts of weed and it was coming into my room with my kids. Management would not do anything. Didn’t appreciate the contact high. We moved hotels.

Their heyday is gone

I stayed at this hotel 10 years ago, back then it was fantastic. Nowadays not so much. Looks like maintenance and repairs on not on the top of the list. The photos used for the room we booked are definitely from about 10 years ago.

Wry disappointed

Beginning I was charged 187. Got to room to check in it was only 141. Got to room. The door was stuck swollen from water moisture in air. The floors were wet and the suite was molded. Kids got sick after we left. Very disappointed. Will never use hotel.com again as I was overcharged and they shouldn’t even have rooms like this if it was effected from any hurricanes
