Good times with

The hotel needs some love and attention. The beds and sheets are outdated . The showers had broken handles . The air conditioners needs to get updated and fans as well . But what makes this place still very nice . Is the pool and the view of seeing beach as soon as you walk out of your room .

Horrible stay

Our first night roaches crawled on my boyfriend's shoulder and face. We got up the next morning they were crawling along kitchenette table. I took a shower they were crawling in the bathroom. We packed quickly so they wouldn't get into our luggage. Their was a very hard time getting ahold of the main office and no form of advertised breakfast.

Nothing special but it did it's part. Definitely wear and tear here and there but overall the staff were nice and helpful. On the beach. It has a good size pool 3ft-9ft. Our room was a great size for a family of four. The breakfast was nothing big. It was more like snacks. Milk, coffee, on the go bowl of cereal and Pop tarts. Also, even if you ask for non-smoking it's probably still going to have been a smoking room. We came out smelling like cigarettes. Even if you don't like cigarettes almost literally every one smokes cigarettes in Florida!

The deco era motel was nice looking but the place needs a major overhaul. Peeling/rusted exterior building,washer dryers,elevator and ice machine inoperable toilet would not shutoff. Everything was outdated/poor condition maintained. Patio door had to be lifted and shoved to open close. The main entry door was filthy, opened only with door knob key deadbolt inop. I had to use force to open and close the door.

Do not book a room at this hotel.

I am surprised this hotel is even available on Hotels.com. This is one of the worst-kept hotels I have seen in years of traveling. Fiftieth overall, Stairway a mess, door in need of repair, bathroom a total disaster, tub leaking, rusty fixtures, tub drain totally rusted, Mirror unclear and outdoor area unkept. PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANYONE TO THIS HOTEL. I CANNOT UNDERSTAND HOW THIS HOTEL CAN PASS HEALTH AND SAFTY INSPECTIONS.

Do not go here!

Everything was absolutely disgusting! Dirty. Nothing was clean. I could and should have taken more photos. Pay and extra $50 and stay somewhere much better!

Hotel was clean but very dated. Elevator didn't work, so had to use stairs for our third floor room. We both have prior knee injuries so it made the stay a bit uncomfortable. Parking is very limited, recommend a smaller vehicle.

Disappointing Stay Despite Adjusted Expectations

As with most experiences, there were both pros and cons to our stay. Based on the reviews we had read beforehand, we had adjusted our expectations and were primarily focused on finding a place right on the beach — which this property did offer. Unfortunately, it still managed to fall far short of even our lowered expectations. The hotel is extremely outdated. There was no ice maker available, the washers and dryers were out of order, and the elevator wasn’t working — which posed a real inconvenience. Our room itself was in poor condition. It was dingy and didn’t feel clean. The furniture was stained, smelled unpleasant, and to make matters worse, we found roaches during our stay. On a more positive note, the air conditioning worked very well, the refrigerator kept things ice cold, and the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The recently renovated pool was also a small bright spot. That said, the overall condition of the property made for a very uncomfortable stay. I chose not to complain during our visit, as there wasn’t anything that could have been done to meaningfully improve the experience.

Had a reservation for 4 people and were only given 2 towels, When we went to office to request more towels, the "back in 15 minutes" sign was up for a much longer than 15 minute period. Reserved an efficiency based on photos showing 2 beds, sofa and chair - room had no sofa. Freezer was warmer than the refrigerator which also was only slightly cooler than air conditioned room. Safe did not work, sliding glass door was difficult to open and only secured with a stick in track. Oven was small - had to cut a pizza in half to bake and only bottom rack cooked since racks were covered in foil for sanitation. Kitchen was stocked with 2 butter knives, 2 steak knives, 1 plastic cup, one small plate, one large plate and a few pots. Plus a kitchen towel and dish detergent. No forks or spoons, no oven mitt...Even difficult to unlock door with old style metal keys. This really reminded me of places on the HGTV series of motels needing rehabs, this was so in need of renovation or even tear down and rebuild. At least the air conditioner was cool, shower worked with hot water and tv was basic like motels in the 1990s. The included breakfast was limited to 1 per person cereal (or cereal bar or pop tart) and a milk or juice. Do not go by photos of the mini golf- just holes in a green rectangle probably built in the 60's. Even the gate from the beach didn't lock. The vents of the air conditioners were rusty and falling off the exterior walls. Laundry out of order. Will not return here

If you are desperate

Run down and needs good update and cleaning. My husband could not sleep the night we stayed due to concerns of his truck being broken into. Seedy people around parking lot. Had to check in at hotel next door so no employee on site. Was desperate and it was cheap. Loud partying coming from pool all night

Air conditioner was not working even after someone came to check it. the room was so humid that the floor never dries. The owner should invest some money , and make sure that what offers is what people is going to get. The pool is good, and the beach area too. Also the breakfast was old cupcakes watery coffe and microwave oatmeal ☹️
