This condo is in a great location with many restaurants and shops within walking distance. For even more excitement and entertainment, travel less than three miles north and find yourself in the heart of Daytona Beach with countless shops, bars, and restaurants, as well as the Daytona Beach Boardwalk, the Joyland Amusement Center, and Daytona Lagoon, a family-friendly water park. Surf's up in Ponce Inlet, just seven miles south! Along with incredible waves, Ponce Inlet is best known for Florida's tallest lighthouse and a marine science center with interactive exhibits, a boardwalk, an observation tower, and nature trails.

The worse vacation experience we have had renting a room at the Hawaiian. The ac vents appeared dirty and we were concerned there was mold in the room.The view was wonderful. The kitchen cabinets were hideous, falling apart and barely hanging on. There were a lot of extras like a humidifier, a heater for winter, fans, and sand chairs. The bathroom sink was slow to drain. The microwave was filthy. The drawers were flimsy and small so we didn't bother to unpack. The price was great. However, the code to enter was ten digits and you needed to be quick or you had to start over. Very difficult to be quick with ten digits! Took us at least three to five times and often caused us to panic when left standing outside. We had to take our phones with us even to go downstairs to the pool for fear of being locked out. For this very reason, we will never rent this room again. We live in St. Petersburg but come to the Hawaiian every year so this is very disappointing.

Room needs TLC

The balcony and view is the best part of this property. The room needs updating, kitchen is gross and there is a musty smell in the closet. Mold on hangers was worry some. The property manager is very attentive to needs when something is missing or mixed up though. The site and the view was amazing!

Great time!!

Amazing property! We enjoyed thoroughly. Only comment I would make is the code to get in the door was nine digits. I had to get my phone out every time because it was hard to memorize. Other than that, everything was perfect!

Overall our stay was great. Perfect little studio condo with balcony overlooking the beach. Comfy king bed and just about everything you need in a beachfront room including great working AC. No cable option but smart tv with certain services. Outdoor pool is massive and includes a cool tiki bar service.

Nice Place, Felt comfortable, and Safe. Pool and Tiki Bar fully Functional. Update Website Please. My only concern is Kitchen needs some TLC. Cleaning underneath burners and making sure dishes are cleaned frompreviousguest. Microwave is rusted all inside a fire hazard for sure. Not expensive to replace. Otherwise loved it and will definitely return.

The property was very nice and the location of the room was great it’s just this room had so many things wrong!!! The few times I did try to contact the owner like about early check in and late check out it was too late we didn’t arrive til five because we didn’t realize we could check in sooner we lived 4 hrs away! And there was no need for a late checkout because we were so upset about the room we just wanted to go home,grandkids were there in another room so we stayed for them!!! This email wouldn’t let me submit this til I selected a star above 3

quick getaway

The hotel is older, it was built in 1962. I liked the Hawaiian theme. The room was just as shown. It was clean and we had a wonderful time. The cost was reflected by the fact the pool was not available due to the hurricane damage. They were working on both the pool and the steps for getting to the ocean while we were there. This time of year September is great because there are no crowds at the restaurants and the ocean water temp. is great.

I wish I had saved the note I sent VASCA about the stay, but I will try to hit the highlights. 1) upon arrival this condo is OLD AS DIRT and the rugs inside look about as old as the building. The dust and dirt from the AC vents is everywhere. Lord knows when the last time they were cleaned. The closet door was completely hanging off. The esc on the shower aren't attached. There is massive construction, so no pool or patio and you have to go around the building through construction to get to the beach. 2) good things - VACSA was on the ball with texting. That is about it. The management company or the actual owner of the condo need to visit this place at least every 6 months to check it out. It definitely doesn't look like anyone who actually cares has visited in a while. I wish I had known because I feel like I paid just to look at the beach that was hidden by construction equipment. Would LOVE to have some of my money back due to the description of the condo not meeting the reality.

Great stay, only one suggestion

The whole stay was fantastic. The only issue I noticed was there was no way to secure the room from the inside other than the deadbolt with the keypad on the outside. Just speaking as a woman travelling on her own, it would have been nice to have an second lock or something to secure the door with that I knew couldn't be tampered with from the outside... as it stands, I ended up having to put the broom stick through the door handle over night. Outside of that I had a wonderful trip and would definitely look at staying again for my next trip

Might not get what you expect

Looks like the property is going through some restorations. We were put in building E. Not shown in picture. They also have building D. Also not shown. Our washroom room had no fan just a window with no screen. The food was very good zt the bar and bartender Mike done an awesome job. Not a bad stay just expected our stay to be in the property that was shown in the picture.

Fantastic view and sound of the waves!!

We were very happy with our accommodations. Loved our balcony and view of the ocean and the pool! Apartment was very clean and the bedding and towels were great! Just a couple of suggestions though. The mirror should be replaced in the bathroom
maybe a smaller one to save money. The kitchen cupboard doors need to be rehung. Maybe some more plates, bowls, and silverware? Loved the coffee pot!! The couch, though comfortable, was a little shabby. Everyone we talked to on the phone was very helpful and productive. We would love to stay here again!! We also felt very safe!!

I come to this building for several years only in other apartments. Upon entering I noticed that the mirror in the bathroom was broken and I informed the agent that the rest was fine. The bed has a comfortable view of the pool and the ocean is great, who does not look too much for this space is good for this price

We have stayed at facilities, Hawaiian Inn many times. This is a nice room but not the best. Just a a bit unkempt that's all. We spent most of our time out and about.
