KINGSDOWN HOLIDAY PARK -BADGERS RETREAT

Semi detached lodge set in a stunning location and ideal for families, or although NOT SUITED FOR ANYONE WITH MOBILITY ISSUES.

Downstairs the lodge has 1 bedroom with bunk beds and the shower room. There is a living area with a TV and DVD player, 1 two seater sofa and a double sofa bed.
This leads to an open plan fully equipped kitchen including a slow cooker and a dishwasher. Off the kitchen is a dining room, with a fridge freezer and the washing machine.

The dining room leads out to a secluded garden edged with trees. It has a bistro table and 4 chairs and a washing line.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms, a double and a twin. The twin room has a TV for DVDs
A stair gate is provided upstairs as these lodges do have VERY STEEP STAIRS. IT IS ADVISABLE TO COME DOWN THE STAIRS BACKWARDS. There is also a bed guard available. At the end of February /March 2022 an upstairs toilet and basin was added.

To the front of the property is a Porch area with patio table and chairs, also available are 4 sun loungers.

On the Park we have a children’s play area, crazy golf, tennis courts, table tennis and volley ball. These can be booked at reception, with a small fee for equipment hire.

Also recently open is a shop attached to reception, selling a few basic items and more importantly ice creams!
An exciting new addition is a morning visit by a mobile van ‘HOG AND BEAN’ selling a variety of hot and cold drinks plus pastries and hot breakfast snacks, including pancakes. This is open daily during the summer holiday 7 days a week.

The Park prides itself on the family friendly feel and it is joyous to see children playing safely in such a wonderful location. We also have a launderette on site if the need arises which take £1 and 50p coins.

If you decide to leave the park you are 5/10minutes walk from the beach and we have several very good pubs which serve excellent food. Booking is recommended as they are very popular. There are long coastal paths for walking or cycling all the way to Deal. We are also spoiled for castles as we are close to Walmer castle which has stunning gardens, Deal castle and of course just 5 miles from the splendid Dover castle.

Wifi access is normally available in the lounge area but at present this has limited opening times, however my personal 4G HUAWEI Mobile WiFi will be available for you to use, at no extra cost.

At present a small charge for electricity is added to your booking fee but this is subject to change due to the unprecedented recent and upcoming price increase.

The property will be cleaned by a local firm and any feedback is welcomed. THIS SEASON ARE NEW PILLOWS AND DUVETS THROUGHOUT. A NEW DOUBLE BED AND BEDSIDE CABINETS PLUS FRESHLY DECORATED TWIN BEDROOM.
