Great boutique hotel

The hotel is beautiful and up-to-date, but still keeps its vintage charm. Our suite was very clean, roomy and pleasantly comfortable. Overall, this hotel met our expectations and even went further to make our stay memorable.

Beautifully renovated historic hotel. When you enter you are in awe of the beautiful woodwork to stain glass. Rooms were “roomy” comfy and bathroom extra large! Just wonderful!

Beautifully restored hotel. Bar with delicious appetizers, but no restaurant. Great location downtown Decorah. Accommodating staff. We needed an accessible room (at minimum bars in the bathtub) but the hotel does not have them.

The classic, historical Hotel Winnesheck is always a delight to stay at. Great location in the heart of what action there may be. Chain hotels are boring by comparison.
