Room was clean & smelled clean. Abby was a big help when I had a problem with the iron. Within 5 min a new iron was brought up. Entire Cleaning staff was very nice, ones that spoke English very helpful & ones who didn't speak English got us in touch with English speaking. Front counter staff are great as well. Enclosed pool is very nice & the hotel doesn't smell like chlorine either. The shopette is quite handy when you forget something. The breakfast is great. Many options & clean. The man who runs it is fabulous. Great hotel.

Great place to stay!

The staff was very friendly, the room was clean, breakfast was great-lots of options. Also lots to do at hotel….pool and games. Very nice stay!!!

I was on a seven day cross country trip. Our stay at this Baymont (just outside Des Moines) was one of our best hotel stays of our trip. The building is very unique for a hotel and offers clean and comfortable rooms, a large gym, large pool and even a game / TV room to hang out in. Additionally they had a small store for snacks and other items one may need or desire. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I'd highly recommend this property and I'd stay at this Baymont again without a second thought.

The room had dust along the baseboards/ edge of bathroom counter top. Behind the toilet the finishing was rusting a bit. The hotel a seems to host a lot of truckers. There were about 15 semi trucks parked in the lot next to the hotel.

This is a wonderful hotel. I imagine it could be quite busy when they host a conference, but it is very quiet otherwise. There is a large pool (9 ft is practically unheard of in most hotels), a rec room, and a large gym. The breakfast area is ample and there was a wide selection (eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits + gravy, oatmeal, pancakes, waffles, and toast.)

The room smelled of musty mold. We found a dehumidifier hidden behind the chair in the room. So it was obvious the room had previous issues.
