We paid for the presidential suite so we arrange our flights to arrive by 4pm to check in but have to wait until 530 to check in. Seems crazy that we pay a lot for a hotel room but have to wait around forever. Never got comped a breakfast or anything. We come every year for the Brian Keck tourney. We love this hotel but this will be our last year. We will get an airbnb next year. We could enjoy our room until 915 because we couldn’t check in and then had to hustle to weigh ins. Highway robbery!!

Although the hotel was excellent the receptionist was not welcoming. Interesting how your whole experience can be affected by your first impression at the reception. Also, I don't recall reading anywhere in my reservation package that parking is $30/day! For Des Moines that's significant.

My suite was not ready at check in ! They had to clean it so it was 45 min from check in t 3 before it wa ready. They told me since it was a third party booking there wa nothing they could to to comp me except give me 2 breakfast vouchers! Breakfast was awful nd not much of selection for $23 per person . pancake hard s a rock ! Room was not the cleanest. Very disappointing esp for the amount of money I paid.

The shower wouldnt stay close and wouldnt drain we told them about it about an hour of check in theu said they would fix and didnt i almost fell getring out of the shower because water was wasnt draining. Not happy at all with what inpaid for the room very ipset
