Positives: hotel staff was friendly and they accommodated a roll away bed with no issue. Negatives: hotel swimming pool was so cold that nobody wanted to swim. People would dip their feet in and leave. The parking is also very crowded and a bit confusing. Overall, a very pleasant experience and would stay here again.

Nice area. We were disappointed in having reserved a king room then they had none available due to overselling. We were downsized to a queen and charged the same. We could hear our neighbors through the walls partying and doing other 'activities'. Was a bit disturbing.

Quick college visit to Des Moines
Very convenient location. Breakfast options were great. The room was comfortable and the staff was pleasant.

Hotel seemed just a little understaffed. Overall clean but hallways seemed like they dont get staff walking them every day. (Little bits of wrapper mid hallway there at 1pm the day of check in still there at 10am check out). Polite service that took care of the tv system not working in the room with a transfer of room.
