The Building is lovely with cool photo memory areas. The pool area had a lot of chlorine in the water, It also burned the eyes just being in the pool area. Overall a nice place to stay.

The hotel looked good from the outside but inside was rundown with torn, wrinkled carpets in the hallways, chipped door casings, etc. At check-in, the staff did not give us directions to the room and we could not find it and had to go back to the front desk to ask and had to wait for a few minutes for someone to appear. It was a relief to check out and leave. I would not go back to this hotel.

Absolutely horrible experience

I was not even able to check in and was still charged due to hotels.com not telling the truth about all fees being included in tge price. The front desk lady was rude and i had to pay $142 and wasnt even able to check into my room. Thanks to hotels.com and stoney creek inn i had to spend the night in my car in 90 degree weather

Place has alot of potential but when I checked in toilet was dirty, hotel rugs looked like they hadn't been vacumed. Upon changing rooms the bed had a blotch of blood under matress which is a sign of bed bugs and the phone was dead. The last room we entered was fine but had a musty smell. The pool looked fine but the hot tub has some sort of mold growing on upper tiles that are above the water.

This place is dirty and outdated. I would not stay here again and I feel like people should be warned. The reviews are mostly positive which is why we picked this hotel. The carpet is disgusting. The elevators smell so bad, like smoke and grossness. The hallways are dark. Nothing has been vacuumed in months.

After many successful stays this was our last one at Stoney Creek Johnston. From rude staff to ants in the room to general maintenance and upkeep, every aspect of the hotel is lacking from its previous glory
