Beach service of one umbrella and two beach chairs is complimentary and you can expect them to be set up and waiting for you during the dates of March 1 through October 31. Loud Construction & Pool

I tried to contact the property via messages, but never received a reply. It sounds like the police were called over the pool noise after we left on Thursday. Here is what I sent the owner, but never heard back: "Hello, We aren’t much on the “review” stuff and we don’t normally complain, but I wanted to share our experience with you. We have three small children (2 and twin one year olds). We were all very excited about this trip and brought our two teenagers and my mother in law. We figured for the price of this property, one of the more expensive vacations we have taken, the property would be top notch. We were disappointed to see the condition of the pool area, which I can only assume a car crashed into. We were also disappointed to hear the pool at pretty much all hours of the night. Yes, we probably go to bed earlier than most people due the small children, but we expected ‘quiet’ hours to be somewhat quiet. When the pool noise finally stopped, the construction next door started. Saws, drills and paving equipment could be heard all day long loudly in the room. Again, most people are probably out, but we have naps to take. I took an extended video of the parking lot paver playing on his phone while his vehicle was in reverse (and making the reverse beep the entire time which we could loudly hear in the room). This was constant on our stay, even on the 4th. I actually ended up cutting the vacation short and leaving Thursday morning, taking the small children home, due to them not being able to sleep night or day. My wife and older children stayed and will leave tomorrow. As the guy “paying the bill”, it’s disappointing that this had to be done. Overall the staff was very nice and the beach guys were awesome. The room was great and the water was perfect. We would not have spent that much on this place if we had known it was a construction site and the pool was destroyed...we didn’t see any of that info when we booked. Again, I just wanted to share our experience. We sold our vacation home last year and this is our fourth trip to Destin in the last year. We love the area and will be back, but will not be back to this property. Thank you, Chris King"
