Relaxation and Fun await!! Holiday Surf and Racquet Club is located on our very own Private, white sand beach in the heart of Destin on Holiday Isle. Come and marvel at the inspiring gulf and beach views from the open-air balconies, take a water taxi or 5-minute UBER ride to the shops and restaurants in Destin Harbor. You can see the weekly harbor fireworks from the resort! By far the best on the beach!! What more could you want?

Unit 512 is a 5th floor, one bedroom, one bath unit, recently remodeled (May 2023) featuring new LVP flooring, paint, and new furniture throughout. The kitchen includes top of the line stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. You’ll enjoy all the kitchen gadgets, utensils, plates, etc. during your stay. If you might need it, this unit has it. The new living room furniture includes a convertible Murphy bed “Queen” sleeper, with mattress topper (not a pull-out couch) and a four-seat couch with chase lounge chair. The kitchen dining area has bar stools and a rustic dining table with four chairs all of which bring comfort, style, and charm to this spacious condo.

For your viewing entertainment enjoy a brand new 65” LG Smart TV (with Netflix, Disney, Hulu, all the Apps). Enjoy complimentary Cox Cable TV, Wi-Fi access and a DVD/Blu-Ray player. The master bedroom also has a brand new 50" LG Smart TV and a second DVD/Blu-Ray player.

In the master bedroom relax and sleep in on a brand new elevated king-size bed with top-of-the-line mattress. Enjoy the huge storage of the bed, new dresser, and nightstands. 512 sleeps a maximum of four guests.

Wait there is more!!! Unit 512 is in the "V" of the resort, which provides morning and afternoon shade to enjoy the stunning views from the balcony (without getting too hot – Bonus!!). Another great thing about being in the "V" is you're only a few steps away from the elevator landing making it super convenient to come and go from the beach, pool, or any of your vacation activities. Who wants to drag their stuff all over the resort?

Got kiddos? 512 is located directly above the pool - yet another great thing about staying in the “V”. Would definitely stay again

Overall we were very satisfied with our stay. Very clean, close walk to the beach and had almost everything we needed. My only complaint is that we weren’t notified that the back sliding door didn’t have blinds, so you could see right in. I like my privacy but we were able to fix it for the week we were there. Rooms don’t have fans and we could have definitely used them. If you like to have a fan on at night we suggest bringing your own. Other than those two small complaints, we loved it! Staff was kind and courteous

Another awesome stay

The property is in a great location off the main roadway of 98.The employees are very nice and accommodating. Check in was quick- the unit was nice and had almost everything needed except a toaster but that's really not a big deal. The bed was comfy and the unit was clean. This is our 2nd year at Holiday Surf & Racquet and we plan to return every year.

The property was great

Located right on the beach, we very much enjoyed our stay here. They offer complimentary chair service on the beach. The apartment was well stocked with kitchen equipment, including a crock pot. Very comfortable and great location. Not overcrowded. Grills are available for use outside. Would definitely return to this property.

The only thing we did not like is that we had no privacy on our balcony. Also that we could not save our seats on beach. Didn’t make sense that I couldn’t go and place my tags on chairs and come back after breakfast. If it’s included in my stay I should be able to use it how I choose to.

Wonderful Facility

The location of this property is perfect. On the beach, close to restaurants and shopping, but away from the crowd and noise of Destin. This was our second year in a row staying at this facility. The facility is clean, convenient, and user friendly. We enjoyed our stay for the second consecutive year!

Quiet getaway

Our condo contained all we needed for a relaxing vacation. The views from our balcony were absolutely gorgeous. The complex was quiet, we never heard anyone beside us or above us(we stayed on the 5th floor). There was little wait for the elevators as well. The king size med was very comfortable and walk in closet provide lots of space for clothing items and suitcases. Bathroom is a little small for more than 2 people but manageable with the dressing area set up in the bedroom. The kitchen had all needed items for cooking breakfast and lunch each day. They offered a standard coffee marker and a Keurig Opportunity to gain clean linens 2 time during the week was super easy. Staff at the complex were friendly and helpful! Close to restaurants but also not right in the middle of all the night life. We will definitely be back!

False Advertisement

First, I loved the beach, the staff, the fact that they sat out chairs and an umbrella for every room. I did not like that they said it slept 5 and it clearly only had one bed and one fold out couch. Which worked fine for us bc we had 3 kids and they all slept in a bed. But what if we had 5 adults? Also it was dirty. You could tell that they didn't ever bother cleaning under beds, in the cabinets, ect.... Also the dishwasher didn't work. It only used cold water and you couldn't change it off of quick clean. They also didnt have any wash clothes to shower with.

GOALS MET!

We had pre-scheduled vacation, usually we travel overseas....of course COVID My husband and I arrived after a 12 hr drive and easily checked in at 5pm via the front desk. The condo was as described, comfortable and well-appointed. There are luggage trollies and shopping carts to unload making it easy to get up 5 floors on the elevators. There was a nice welcome basket, including dish towels, potholders, sanitizing wipes, dish soap, dishwashing detergent, paper towels and 2 toilet paper rolls. We had brought all these items and didn't have to use our supply during our 6 night stay. The walk is easy to the beach, to the 2 chairs and umbrella included. This was our daily routine, and our GOAL of RELAXATION was met. The weather was perfect, the water warm and the beach not crowded. There were about 3 days with excessive jellyfish in the water. The pool was cool and refreshing. We didn't go out to eat once, and just used 2 trips to the grocery store, WinnDixie, directly across the highway from Holiday Isle, and cooked at the condo. The barbecue area is unappealing, out in the parking lot near the designated smoking holes, so we never used it. We enjoyed the 1 free DVD rental. We wish our condo owner had more subscription cable channels for resting in the evenings, more movie channels. My husband enjoyed the electric recliner. The king bed was firm and comfortable for us. It is missing a rounded decorative piece from the footboard. The condo has a couple things we'd recommend improving: 1. the ice maker did not work 2. the dishwasher soap holder doesn't open during the wash cycle, so we just threw the soap in 3. a room fan/ceiling fan in the bedroom would be nice 4. the "towel ring" is hanging out of the wall by the shower and should be replaced with a holder for a bath towel 5. the bathroom sink drains very slowly 6. remote controls for TVs need battery replacements 7. dining chairs are not comfortable Overall, 4.5 Thank you! The place met all our expectations!
