Located a block off the beach in an exclusive gated community, this 5/4 home sleeps 14. The impressive entrance and bounding 12 ft ceilings prepare the way for the open floor plan where everyone has room to mingle and relax in the blended living room, dining and kitchen area. A chef’s dream! This kitchen has everything you need to throw a feast together, should you desire! There is seating for 4 at the Kitchen Island and seating for 10 at the Dining table. The backdrop of the expansive wall of windows overlooks an oasis of a back yard! Conversations can spill over to the outside to enjoy the 65” SMART TV, pool, spa and waterfall area. Equipped with an outdoor gas grill and sink, outdoor plush seating, salt water pool, (heated seasonally for a fee), you will not want to leave! There is also a gas fireplace and a dining table for 8!

*Off of the main entrance is a King Bedroom with a bathroom just outside the door featuring a double vanity and stand-alone custom shower.
*Off of the Foyer is a Queen bedroom that can be converted to a sitting room when the Murphy bed is folded up.
*Through the Living area and off the back of the house is the King Master bedroom with an oversized ensuite bathroom featuring a double vanity, stand alone shower and soaking tub. Huge glass sliders lead you out to the pool for a private nighttime dip. There is also an additional full bathroom with a stand alone shower off the living area and a fully equipped mud/laundry room.
*Upstairs is a Bunk room with Two Queen over Queen Custom Bunks along the wall and an area for watching the 65” Smart TV while lounging on the sofa. There is a bathroom off this room with a double vanity and oversized shower.
*Tucked off the bunk area is a Queen Bedroom with a 55” Smart TV.

Yet, right across the street is the sparkling emerald green waters of the coast waiting for you to bask in the sun and sand! Also, Destiny East has amenities to explore! A Community pool, tennis and basketball courts, IMAX theatre, children's playground, outdoor grilling area, putting green & in ground pool & spa centrally located near shopping, dining & entertainment and close proximity to world-class golf courses. Of course, you are a short distance to the beach! The access is at The Crab Trap which is 5 minutes or .5 miles away.
Parking for 3 vehicles.

Impressive House (but a little more TLC would be better)

My friends and I (10 total) stayed at this impressive house for 3 nights. The house was exactly as described. A few pros and cons: Pros: - Immaculate house (squeaky clean) - Safe/gated neighborhood - Close proximity to beaches, tourist areas, Publix, Walmart (roughly 5-7min drive) - Walk to beach possible - Plenty of unique spaces & character in the house to accommodate friends and families - We thoroughly enjoyed using the pool/spa - Grilling in the evening with friends while some stayed in the pool was memorable for us - 2 bedrooms with king-sized beds on the first floor easily accommodated 4 adults - 1 "inner" bedroom with queen-sized bed accommodated 2 adults - 2 bunk beds (each with a sizable full or double bed) accommodated 4 adults easily. - I'm guessing 2 small-sized adults can fit in each bunk bed to accommodate 4 more people to make 14 total people in the house. Ideally, 10 is the right number if everyone needs a good night rest. Cons: The reasons I dropped a point off this rating - Upon arrival, there was no single bottled water (in a scorching Florida sun, driving straight from the airport...). That was highly unwelcoming for a rental property that wasn't cheap! -First day, we struggled to access the bldg because of a wrong code that was provided with an * in the carefree checkin. We called the host (best beach getaway) and was rather appalled at his unsympathetic attitude. I believe he hung up on me. Very poor customer service on that front!

Beautiful Home, But


The house was beautiful and the subdivision was peaceful. However there are quite few things that you the hosts should take into consideration for their next rental. It might not matter to some but it mattered to us and the amount of money we spent. There were holes throughout the house, & wallpaper written on one of the walls. When we arrived we could not get into the gate, the codes sent to me via text, did not work, I called the after hours hot line and they informed me to check my email for the codes and those codes did not work either. Luckily there was a lady driving by the exit gate that gave us a code which was none of the codes sent to me. Secondly, the pool was extremely dark and had 2 mouth pieces and sand/dirt from a previous renter (I’m assuming). As the day progressed to night there were frogs everywhere and there were frog eggs all along the inside of the pool. (I have pictures if needed) The next day when my children went swimming,My son’s eyes were extremely swollen and irritated due to the pool not being cleaned properly before our arrival. With us being a big swimming family, we knew the pool was not shocked or cleaned thoroughly. Two of the 4 kids needed eyedrops and Benadryl for the insane eye swelling. I called the maintenance people and told the pool company twice before leaving. The many different high tech house items were also a difficult task. The house was not cleaned thoroughly. 5k+ is a lot for 3 days and things could have been done better.
