Sandpiper Cove is a 43 acre gated resort located on exclusive Holiday Isle in Destin, Florida, which is a peninsula surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico and Destin Harbor. This expansive resort offers amazing amenities including private beach access, five swimming pools, three hot tubs, six lighted tennis courts, horse shoes, plus a 9-hole par 3 golf course. Additionally, the resort includes a beach pavilion that serves food and beverages, BBQ grills onsite, and Louisiana Lagniappe restaurant.

If you haven't been to Holiday Isle, you're in for a treat. It's a serene, little oasis in the middle of Destin, with 2 and a half miles of paved trails for walking and biking, surrounded by quiet neighborhoods perfect for exploring on a bike. It's just minutes away from restaurants, shopping, boat docks, fishing, golf, and amusements.

Close by is Destin Commons, a beautifully landscaped, pedestrian-friendly area and a great family venue where children will love to play in the interactive water fountains. Also for the younger guests, a nautically/pirate themed outdoor playground features a 1,750 square foot soft play area with various creatures from the sea, slides, and a treasure chest!  Destin Commons also has a mini-train for the kids. We absolutely loved our stay here! The condo was spacious and nicely updated. It was a fantastic location overlooking the canal. Our stay was hosted by Real Joy and they were fantastic to work with. Communication before, during and after our stay was great and we would definitely book with them again.

Great location to the canal if you're brining a boat, the place was immaculate and having a ground area to sit at the picnic table made the days enjoyable.

Will definitely return

This property was well-appointed with modern furniture and appliances. The beds are comfortable. The property is close to the beach, and the pools were perfect for the kid. There are tons of restaurants and activities nearby. The property management, RealJoy, was very communicative and provided clear instructions on both check-in and check-out procedures. We usually stay at Sandestin Golf and Beach resort, but we'll be checking on the availability of this unit from now on.

Refrigerator problems

Great location and nice condo. Refrigerator going out and host didn’t believe me so we stayed for a week with no refrigerator. Not even a mention of a deduction for our troubles. I was questioned if i put too much food in there and accused of maxing out the controls after we had been there for 1 day and lost food and had to use a cooler for our food all week.

The condo was perfect, great access to the private beach with beautiful water. The location is ideal, you can easily grab a boat to head out to Crab Island or head to a golf course.

One of the best locations in SPC

My wife and I had yet to stay on the canal side of SPC as we always liked being near or on the golf course to watch the people play. This has the best of both worlds! Super clean, and very updated. The only thing we would mention is that it lacked a sort of personal touch that comes with an individual owner such as beach chairs, cooler, pickle ball paddles, or a few golf clubs. If you are flying in, just remember that you would need to bring those or rent those somehow. Otherwise I would highly recommend it and we would definitely stay here again.
