The Igloo (aka Townhomes at Crystal Beach #5) is a beautifully furnished home directly on the beach - you can't get much closer to the spectacular white sands and clear waters! This 3-level townhome provides the ultimate in family privacy with lots of space and stunning views of the beach and ocean from 2 different upper level decks plus a 30-ft. beachside deck! A beach set up of two chairs and an umbrella come with our rental, and we have other beach chairs and an umbrella available for your use! Our townhome boasts lots of amenities and conveniences, including beach toys, fully stocked kitchen, and a hair dryer in each bathroom. A gas grill offers cooking convenience.

The 4-bedroom, 4-bath townhome is oceanfront on a quiet, private beach in the quaint neighborhood of Crystal Beach. The kitchen and bathrooms have custom tile, granite, and custom cabinets. Beautiful hickory wood floors carpeted throughout. All decks have dining space so you can listen to the relaxing waves as you dine together. The community has a private pool, and our condo has secure Wi-Fi. This beautiful townhome features a third level romantic King Master bedroom overlooking the Gulf with en suite full bath plus Jacuzzi in the bedroom AND the bathroom and a third level bunk room with 2 built-in hand-painted twin bunks and twin bed with trundle. The second level has a queen bedroom with full kitchen, dining area, living area, and laundry. The first level is its own studio/bedroom with a living area, kitchenette, and pull-out queen sleeper sofa, plus full bathroom (sleeps 10). Super easy beach access from a large deck supplied with grill, dining, lounge chairs!!! Saturday to Saturday only during peak seasons.

Great Stay!

Property host, Jazz, was phenomenal. Every question was answered promptly with descriptive answers. Once we arrived, the condo was super clean and very nice. We hope to return next year.

We stayed from Sunday to Friday. Received email on way down that washing machine was broken and would be replaced Wednesday. We were checking out Friday. 7 people with no washing machine. Thought we might get a little discount? 7 people in condo and you get 2 chairs and 1 umbrella. Would’ve been nice to have couple more chairs for that many people. Great location. Great views from patio.

Summer vacation

Description was everything we got. No surprises. The communication with the management was amazing. The washing machine was broke and they tried their best to get a new one with our stay but it couldn’t happen ,which was fine. The location was amazing as well as the beach access and private beach area. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

We came and stayed as a family of 5. The townhome offered PLENTY of space for all of us. The unit could definitely use some updating and fixing (broken closet doors, broken dresser, older furniture, dirty carpet, rugs, and floors, etc.) However, the location can’t be beat. The access to the beach is incredible!! Loved the private beach with the 2 beach chairs and umbrella that were included. We also enjoyed some time at the pool. Outdated, but the location definitely made up for it!

Perfect vacation!

The property was exactly what we expected from the website! Wonderful decks to sit on, plenty of comfy places for us all to relax in the evening. But we can’t say enough about location! Close to activities, stores and restaurants. But mostly we loved the beach. A very short walk from house to sand! We wouldn’t change a thing!!!! 10/10

Beautiful Townhome at a Great Location!

My family and I spent a week in April 2024 at this beautiful townhome, right in the heart of everything. And the biggest plus was the beach service (umbrella and 2 chairs) set up for you every morning, so you just grab your beach bag and head to the beach right outside your backdoor. I would highly recommend this rental. Description: First floor is great for teens/young adults. Sofa that pulls out into a bed with a kitchenette and full bath with the best shower in the home. Great for stocking drinks for the beach. Right outside the door is a covered deck with tons of beach gear, outdoor shower, and gas grill. Second floor: 1 bedroom and bathroom combo. The bathroom is also accessible to the hall for quests. Very nice kitchen, but not a lot of room for groceries, but we just utilized the counters. Dining table that seats 4, but there are a couple of bar stools you can pull up to the table. Living room with a fireplace. Big balcony with table and 4 chairs. Third floor: Primary bedroom and bathroom with fireplace and huge jacuzzi bath. 2nd bedroom with built- in bunkbeds and separate twin trundle. Also has a small bathroom.

overall the stay went well- we had issues with the golf cart we rented and were brought another one- had issues with it as well- they wouldn't charge and the 2nd one went dead on 46% battery and we had to push it back. the ice maker downstairs wasn't usable, a few of the outlets in the bathrooms didn't work-and one of the plastic outdoor chairs was weather worn and broke when it was sat in. but the price and the convenience were great, overall i was pleased and would stay here again.

Great location

Overall we had a great stay. Property was nice and had a great location. There were a few maintenance issues but they were very quick to respond and repair. My only complaint would be the outdoor furniture. It is very old and in very bad condition. 2 of 4 chairs on bottom level were cracked on the back. One Chair on master balcony and it was in horrible shape. Outdoor seating is not what’s pictured on listing.

If you are wanting a private beach this is perfect. Great place for family with young children without having to worry about interior of home. Interior is nothing fancy or upscale. All our time was spent at beach so it was perfect for us! Would stay there again with children.

Amazing location on the beach with fantastic beach staff. The view from the master and the deck is awesome but needs new table/chairs. The place was clean but dated furnishings and minimal amenities: bring hand soap and toilet paper, tissues etc.

Beach front townhouse that needs more care

There are two great things about this property: - The size (you will be able to accommodate 9 people with no problem) - Location: you will be at a private beach with ocean view from the second and third floors Now the bad - Poorly maintained; when we arrived at the house the maintenance person was there and told us that several things were not working (e.g., fan in the first floor, outlets and lights in the first floor, etc). And the worst part, he said there was nothing he could do - Not clean: the place was not really clean - House had to remain unlocked: there was NO KEY TO LOCK THE HOUSE once we left to the beach. The door will literally stay unlocked. I reported this situation and the management company replied saying unfortunately the owner didn’t provide the needed keys You will also pay tons of fees for this property. My daily rate was 55% higher than the rate listed on Vrbo once all the fees were added.

Area was very nice, but there are some thing we were not happy with. 1.roaches 2.second floor bed (mattress has a big dip on left side) 3.couch on the first floor smelled 4.the fees for cleaning and expected to throw out the garbage yourself. 5. no instructions for fire place on property. The reason I bring up the garbage ,its not because we cant clean up, but you going to charge the amount on top other fees. the view its beautiful but overall .I don't think we will choose another rental with this company.

Perfect for a family vacation

This townhouse was a perfect size for small family. Our three year old loved the bunk room and the freedom/independence of having his own bathroom. The giant bathtub in the master added to the fun and our kids would happily get in after a day at the beach and pretend they were swimming in the sea as we cleaned them. Being able to walk directly onto the beach was so convenient and we loved the extra beach toys. The townhome is located near all the local shopping. Plus we could walk along the beach to the crapshack.

Cute house! Beautiful ocean view

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Straight from the back deck was direct access to the beach. Beautiful view! The area was nice. Close to shopping and restaurants. Management was responsive to any concerns we had. I recommend this place.

We checked out of the unit a day early. We were highly dissatisfied with the condition of this property. It’s hard to know where to begin describing what is clearly a neglected home. Upon arrival one cannot miss the fact that this home looks nothing like the photos representing it online. Obvious water damage on the living room ceiling. Air vents & recessed lighting cans half way hanging out of the ceiling, barely a working knob to be found on cabinets and laundry door knobs that rip right out when pulled. The window treatments were inadequate & while carefully opening the sliding panels in the living room, the top literally collapsed on my head. The walls have been patched without being repainted & in the upstairs bathroom the electrical outlet comes off completely when unplugging things. The carpets are disgustingly brown with age & in the main living floor multiple roaches were spotted. The oven rattled loudly while heating up/cooking & lights were often flickering while using it. The living room floor needs to be replaced, it would now/sink in areas while walking around. The outdoor furniture is rusted so be up to date on your tetanus shots. The condition of this rental does NOT warrant the cost! I emailed the property management group, Venture Found twice and never received a response. Would not recommend this property.

Such a great beach rental!

The location of this is amazing!! We walked to shopping, restaurants, bars, everything! The beach was private, even though it was Spring Break- our area had tons of space and free beach chairs. House was perfect for our needs- 2 adult couples and 6 teens. Tons of fun for all! We will be back for sure!

The location couldn’t have been better. The crib, baby gates and beach toys were much appreciated as this was a multi-generational trip. Check-in was simple; I even received a text staying the unit was available early for check-in.

Been there before

We’ve stayed in this condo for a week most summers for almost 20 years. The location is perfect and as usual we had a great time. There are no drapes on the window in the MBR just paper over the two side panels. MBR shower leaks into the kitchen area. The CONSTANT noise from helicopters is very annoying and just NOT Destin beachlike and because of that I’m looking at other options for next year.
