This two-bedroom, two-bath is a fun, beachy condo that offers stunning views of the community pool and the beach just beyond it. You and the whole family will love the vibrancy and convenience this vacation condo has to offer. Sterling Shores Resort has a huge, lush, pristine resort complex. Enjoy resort amenities like the community lagoon pool, the BBQ and picnic area, beachfront oasis pool, fitness center, and much more. Whether you're enjoying the Destin sunshine from the serenity of your private balcony, while you're lounging poolside, or relaxing on the beach, Sterling Shores 414 will highlight the pleasure and ease of your next Destin vacation.

This private condo is located on the fourth floor. This condo also includes 2 personal backpack beach chairs!

The Sterling Shores Association is completing a weatherproofing project on the exterior of the building. Substantial completion of the project, including full unit and balcony access, is scheduled for the end of February 2026. Contractors will still be present onsite to complete remaining items; however, guests should experience minimal impact and no significant noise. The project is expected to be fully completed no later than the first week of April 2026, weather dependent. Compass Resorts will work with any guests affected by the project to provide the best vacation experience possible. If you have any questions, please give us a call.

The open-concept floorplan provides the space for you to spend time with your loved ones and still be able to spread out and relax. The living area features plenty of seating for large parties, a queen sleeper sofa for additional accommodations, and a flat-screen TV for everyone to gather around. The living room leads to the private balcony, which offers some of the most beautiful views in this part of the beach community. The wall-to-wall floor-to-ceiling windows also allow you to take in those views from multiple locations throughout the home. The dining area has seating for six with additional seating for three at the breakfast bar. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the cookware and dinnerware for you and your family to make memorable meals from the comfort of your vacation home.

The spacious master bedroom has a king bed, flat-screen TV, walk-in closet, and a private balcony entrance. The private master bathroom has a jetted tub, walk-in shower, and vanity. The guest bedroom is coolly outfitted in surfing decor, and it features two twin beds and a flat-screen TV. Just steps from the guest bedroom are the centrally located guest bathroom with a tub/shower combination and a vanity.

Great stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Sterling Shores resorts. The property was very clean and well maintained. Could use some updating here and there like in the bathrooms, but overall a great property. They were doing renovations on the front of the building, we which is in the description of the property. It was very loud but we knew about it beforehand and didn't affect our experience.The location is awesome, near lots of restaurants and a very short walk to the beach just past the pool. The sand was so soft and beautiful. Walmart and Publix right down the road. Our favorite meal was at Peppers. Definitely recommend. Considering coming back to this property next year! Thank you for a great stay.

The condo was wonderful. It was clean and had everything we needed. It looked just like the pictures. One thing I wish we would have known is that the beach is completely taken up by a chair and umbrella company. I wish we would have reserved our chairs and umbrella ahead of time to get the front row. We paid about 350 to have chairs and an umbrella in the second row.

Perfect for our family

This was our second time staying at Sterling Shores, but our first time in this unit. Unit was great for our family of four! It does sleep six, but the additional sleeping is the pull out couch in the living room. We traveled with three other families, and all were satisfied with their units too! The Back Porch is a gem to have nearby as we could hear names being called from our balcony. Excellent food, but they were extremely busy each night we were there. That’s why it was nice to go and put our name in, and we could walk back to our room for a drink. They call your name at least twice, so you don’t miss your reservation. They have outside seating for waiting too. The beach was amazing, and we walked almost 1.5 miles down to a beach bar one day. The kids went on a banana boat ride, and these type of excursions are only a few doors down from Sterling Shores. They had jet skis too. Also, we highly recommend Jackacuda’s Seafood and Sushi. Excellent sushi and food! Lastly, we enjoyed having the beach chairs that are at the condo for use. When we stayed a couple years ago (different unit), they provided two beach rental chairs for the week. They were set up with our name each morning we walked out to the beach. That was amazing, but I’m sure those days are over for providing them with increased costs for everything. Perfect week, nearly perfect weather, and perfect accommodations!!

Blah Stay

We have stayed here for over 10 plus years and loved this place. We stay at a different condo each year to switch it up. This year was the first time that it was not up to par. The resort itself didn’t have a solid working evaluator the whole time we were there (7 days) and no-one was anyone working on them. (2/3 evaluators didn’t work and the 3rd one was sketchy to not working). We were thankful that we (kids included) were able to make it up and down the flight of stairs, but my heart went out to those in a wheel chair or not capable of making the flight of stairs with and without luggage. Also, there were teenage softball girls staying there at the same time. They were going around and banging on doors at night then running. Our kids were sound asleep and woken up to this nonsense. Not to mention the softball girls flooded the pool and invited the whole team and families over to swim to others not staying on property. As the majority left out the gates when the pool closed. No one was monitoring the area on wrists bands or walking the halls. I am sure there were several complaints after speaking with others staying at the resort. This is the first time that we felt sour about this location. It use to be home away from home, but we feel for what we paid for and the whole experience that this may be our last stay here. We didn’t expect everything to be picture perfect, but we did expect the basics to be up to par and also to have working elevators.

Overall the condo was nice. When we arrived to the resort it wasn’t clear about checking in normal time. Didn’t get notified when the condo was ready other then looking ourselves online. The condo was overall clean, the curtains needed cleaned up and saw visible dust on the shelves. The sliding door to go out on the balcony from the living room is so difficult to open and close. The dryer definitely takes 2-3 times of starting the dryer over to fully dry clothes (and the clothes are not overstuffed in the washer) the fan and light in the master bath didn’t work. Didn’t even attempt to use the big bath tub. On day 4 of being here the elevator stopped working and never was fixed
 which I feel should have been priority to the resort with how many people are there. The overall vibes of the place was fun for the family. The big pool was clean and the bathrooms were clean at the pool. Was nice to just walk a short distance across the little ally and go directly to the beach/ enjoy the back porch. Parking was perfect love that you have to have code to get into the resort. Doesn’t take long to get to many restaurants and stores for groceries. Would def recommend if your coming to this hotel to either pack trash bags, paper towels, laundry soap, shampoo and conditioner. We used the Keurig coffee pot a lot. Def don’t recommend going to Walmart and Publix late evening it’s so crazy there during those times !! Recommend early am !!

Great place to stay.

This was a great place to stay all the decoration in the room fit the stay. Over all furniture in good condition although I could not use the spa in main bedroom not sure if it didn’t work or that I didn’t know how to turn it on. The area/real state at the private beach access is a little small for all the peolpe in sterling shores. (Elbow to elbow) We had to go to the Henderson Beach to get more space and play on the beach. But Condo stay, security, parking all good. We made breakfast order food and had no problem with all of that.

Best Vaca ever

I loved staying here they made everything so easy for us! The view was amazing it was the perfect spot the beach is not a far walk at all. The restaurant (the back porch) close by was delicious. They had all the utensils needed to cook which was very nice! I can go on and on. The point is I will definitely be coming back to stay on my next vacation!

Very nice condo- not happy with resort

The condo was very nice. The only complaint with the condo was the drier would not dry the clothes. I was not happy with the resort along with a lot of other families. They closed the pool for 2 days because of it needing a deep cleaning. (Which I own a pool and know that needs to be done but they just emptied it, never saw one person scrub or clean and then just started filling it back up with all the leaves and debris in it) I understand for health safety it has to be sanitized but they could have done this in the evening and started filling it up at night. Families save all year to take there kids on vacation and it is no fun to tell the kids the pool is closed for 2 days. Also the fact people we’re paying over $300 to $400 a night at the resort, this is not acceptable!!! The management acted like it was no big deal. They replaced some tile while the pool was empty and not was person cleaned the pool. When it was filled back up, it was filthy. Our family has been coming to Sterling Shores for several years and am so disappointed how they handled the situation. The resort also informed us that one day during our stay that the water would be shut off for repairs and people made arrangements for but that fell through because a valve they needed was not available (that was the reason the gave us) Like I said, we have stayed at Sterling Shores several times and love the resort but very disappointed how things were handled.

Absolutely fabulous Condo!

This resort has it all! Great pool, beach front, and the Backyard restaurant is right there, so that you can grab hamburgers or drinks during the day. We will definitely stay at the Sterling Shores again! And Unit 414 must surely have the best view of all! I wish the resort would improve the fitness center, but that it the only slightly negative thing I would say. Really great overall!

Lovely view and perfect location!!! Everything was perfect

My family and I had a wonderful time from the moment we pulled into the location. Beautiful landscaping in front of the resort. Great ocean and pool view. The pictures did not do this unit justice the floor plan was way larger than we thought and the beach decor was perfect. We enjoyed the pools even though one was very cold we got to swim in the other. We loved that we had private beach access and also all the gift stores and shopping stores were on the same strip. The Track go karts and mini golf was 3 mins away. Also go to Harborwalk village (10 mins away) and go on a dolphin cruise with captain Roy!! Everything was amazing we will definitely be coming back next year
