This 6th floor condo in the Resorts of Pelican Beach Destin, has spectacular views of the powdery white beaches, emerald water and all the comforts of home. You can relax on our balcony and enjoy the direct view of the beach that Southern Living Magazine voted #1 in the United States! Watch the dolphins play in the beautiful emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Everything is furnished for a 'home away from home' feel. You can take a 10 minute walk along to the beach to the world famous 'Back Porch'. Stay for a Bloody Mary served in a beach pail or stay for lunch. Lots of local fare to snack on including their famous Amber Jack Sandwiches. All this right on the beach so flip flops are not required! Wake up in the morning and walk next door for an incredible breakfast at The Pancakery for incredible pancakes and breakfast. You don't have to worry about losing your key in the sand...This condo has keyless entry - no key to pick up or send back and forth, no key to worry about losing at the beach. There are so many restaurants in the area or you can buy fresh (just off the boat) seafood at the local markets and cook it yourself! The community is gated and guarded for your family's security and you can call the front desk anytime, day or night, if you need anything during your stay. Across the street is the Famous 'Big Kahuna' water and adventure park and Race Track Go-Kart racing.

Bring supplies

The condo was clean and everything was comfortable. The resort staff were friendly and it was close to many restaurants. Unfortunately, it rained 6 out of 7 days while we were there. Our only complaint is that there were no supplies. No salt or pepper, there were 2 rolls of toilet paper even though we booked 7 nights, no dish soap, we had to shop for every thing. There were no smart TVs so there was no access to Apps. All in all, the condo was clean and comfortable, but definitely out dated and bare bones.

Just stayed

Beach is beautiful. Location is great. Condo was clean and up-to-date. Unfortunately the listing said there would be beach chairs and towels and toys available in the condo and none of these items were there. The beach chair rentals were expensive and unavailable--booked out until June. There was also only a couple small bottles of shampoo so you definitely want to bring your own toiletries including lotion and conditioner. We did purchase beach chairs towels floats and boogie boards which we left in the unit so hopefully they will be available to the next renter.

Perfect Location with great amenities!

This condo had everything my family needed, including great views of the ocean and tons of amenities. I would definitely recommend renting beach chairs - that made it easy to bounce back and forth from the beach to the heated pools. The resort does a great job of keeping the place clean and check in was a breeze. This condo is located close to the elevators so it was super easy to get down to the cafe and/or the pool area. We had three kids with us so the bunk beds with the trundle were what made us pick this condo. I would definitely stay here again!

Location & Home away from Home

We are so thankful to have stayed at this condo. The Hosts were very responsive and helpful. The resort has everything there. The resort has main elevators and an elevator on the ends. We stayed during the Labor Day holiday so the place was busy. Resort has 3 pools. A little cafe with awesome pizzas. Also has a tiki bar that open from 11am to dusk. Highly recommend after booking the condo to book you rental of beach chairs on the beach. We are so thankful to not have to pack to the beach an umbrella and chairs. Best money well spent. The resort is also within 2 miles of the best restaurants Destin has to offer. The condo is on the 6th floor with an ocean view. The condo has everything that your home has. It was nice to have a washer and dryer. When we first went to use the dryer it had sand in it which was an easy thing to clean out before use. On our way into Destin our transmission went out on our SUV so we were careless souring our stay. Wasn’t a problem because we were there to use the beach anyways. Plenty of things that are within a walk from the resort. Ice cream, shops and restaurants. We used Uber for our evening meals. Uber is highly used down there so there wasn’t much of a wait. Round trip was around 30$. We told the hosts about our issue and they contacted the resort for us for a late check out incase our SUV wasn’t fixed in time for us to leave. Thankfully that wasn’t needed and we had our SUV back on our last morning. Overall this was a great place to stay.

Great condo and location

This condo had everything our family of 4 needed. Laundry in room, bunk beds, view and amenities. George, the owner, was so easy to communicate with and quick to respond to any concerns that I had. The resort has a toy box on the beach that included toys and boogie boards for guests to use.

Plumbing Issues need addressing.

Although clean when we arrived, there was a smell we tracked to the washer. Called to have that fixed but the chemicals they put in did not get rid of the stench. So no washer. Master bath tub only slowly drained as well. As we were cleaning up to depart, found the disposal side of the sink backs up and the dishwasher had standing water in it causing us to hand wash everything.

Favorite place to stay!!

We are a family of 6 with kids aging from 16 to 3 and this was the perfect condo for us! Very clean and spacious! The in room washer/dryer are perfect for getting everything washed through out the week! We will definitely be staying here again! :)
